Well, they have good reason to be more than worried . . . and I don't see Masipa rejecting leave to appeal (that would be MY worry !), it would be far too embarassing and cause just more outrage

Not sure about appeal being reason, I interpreted Dadics post re Steenkamps referring to the way media covered the extracts from her book, in particular the intimate revelations. Possibly more directed to the reactions on social media - there was some disgusting comments from OP supporters . . ...

From the a.m. article "But Pistorius – who was estimated to earn about R20 million a year before the 2012 London Olympics – has no more money, so the bill has been sent to his uncle." I wonder . . . . . . if we just assume 30-35 million Rand in 2011/2012. . . . where has all the money...

Hi Mr. Fossil, Just queuing up to thank you for the tremendous work with all the charts. :star2: And agree with the last BIB. Carl wouldn’t have taken the risk to tamper with the phone if there hadn’t been some damning evidence to get rid of.

hmm, only thing I remember about any outside light is the balcony light. When Nel questioned Dixon on the light conditions with curtains drawn in OPs bedroom. Nel asked him why he did not know that the balcony lights were ON. Taken from Juror 13 blog: "Nel asks about the balcony light. Dixon...

Ok Lux, THIS is the post I wanted to reply to . . . I followed Andrew Harding on twitter in the beginning, due to the good reputation of BBC. Which it still holds for me looking at their excellent documentary for example. But I'm afraid good old Andrew slowly gravitated towards the P. family...

No, the poll didn't close but I also tried to vote more than 2x without success. Erm . . I am in the YES faction btw. It's an HONORARY doctors degree. In my world honour has a meaning and the person s/b viewed as a whole. Despite the fact that I doubt he contributed much to the project in...

What I also didn't get all the time . . IIRC, Prof Saymann said that EACH of the wounds would have been fatal, i.e. just a single 1st shot would have killed her (I assume due to major blood loss). He knew the ammunition he used, so I don't believe for a second that he didn't know what...

Good point. As per the judgement most probably no restriction for him to stay in a house with guns. It just said he is not fit to OWN a firearm again* . . . thinking about guns being around him . . . I wouldn't want to set a foot in that house, no. *It was shocked again about Masipa when...
