    GUILTY IL - Willow Long, 7, Watson, 8 Sept 2013 - #4

I haven't found any such reference either. I do think that a good prosecutor would tear up the "impalement" story very quickly. Many people have survived this type of injury, but they would have no chance if they were put out of their misery....What a stupid story that murderer came up with!

    GUILTY IL - Willow Long, 7, Watson, 8 Sept 2013 - #4

There was NO need for this living child to be put "out of her misery." Many people have survived an impalement by receiving immediate help. A call to 911 would have given this child a chance at survival...If she had been impaled and someone cared to make that call...

I just don't understand why she would think DCBS would be called in, if she left her children with a competent babysitter. That's what has me puzzled. I think most people leave their children with babysitters from time-to-time and that isn't considered child abuse or neglect, unless that...

I wonder if the mom knew there were problems with the uncle. She really had no reason to lie, if her own brother had always been caring, honest, moral, and responsible. Maybe Darling Willow had told her "things." Perhaps other reports will come out or perhaps Willow's friends will begin to...

    GUILTY IL - Willow Long, 7, Watson, 8 Sept 2013 - #3

I do not see any way that this little angel ran and stumbled and impaled herself with enough force to have a stick go through her head or even the softer tissues of her neck. She only stood a few feet off of the ground, weighed only about 40lbs., and would have had to have been running with...

I agree...I briefly forgot about that when I realized she was "in bed." I was trying to think that out... Could the 12 year old also have been in bed, and perhaps saw someone earlier, but he dozed back off, then when he eventually got up later, found his sister stabbed? Some people get...

    GUILTY CA - Leila Fowler, 8, murdered, 12yo charged, Valley Springs, 27 Apr 2013 - #2

Yeah...I have been rethinking this. Do we know for sure that Leila was still alive or did it take those few minutes for someone to pronounce her dead? I wish we knew more of the basic details.... Could someone have this many stab wounds, and bleed very slowly to death?...Still...Leila would...

I guess this doesn't work, if the 12 year old saw an intruder...

    GUILTY CA - Leila Fowler, 8, murdered, 12yo charged, Valley Springs, 27 Apr 2013 - #2

Since we really don't know many details....I was wondering about this...If the rest of the family left the house at 9am or so...Could Leila have been murdered sometimes during the night or early morning hours, and the family thought she was simply asleep? Maybe she was a deep sleeper or slept...

I have already heard back from the Sheriff's Dept. They are looking into these derogatory comments made by the dispatcher. They said a "gag" order had been placed on all un-involved personnel the day of the murder or the following day.

I just read through those comments and I followed up with an email to the Calavera's Sheriff's dept. Here's a copy: If this is the truth...The dispatcher taking this call, should be fired. I commend your office, for the investigation you are doing regarding this priceless little girl's death...

Is there a legal way to keep someone from a funeral? It seems probably, but maybe I am wrong, that there have been donations that may have covered the funeral expenses. If that is so, the father etc. shouldn't have been able to use paying for that, as a reason to exclude the mother. I...

I do not either! What was he thinking? She needs locked into a cell, all by herself, and actually I would be fine with occasional bread and water, and nothing else.

Hi Elmomom, I agree with what you are saying.."Let her hang herself."..What I don't agree with is that this convicted monster, has the freedom to just set up a nationally broad-casted interview, as though she is some kind of movie star. I think these actions make a mockery of our correctional...

I do not get it! This woman apparently was perfectly free to arrange her own interview??!! I didn't realize, until I listened to this recording, that she...herself...Set this up! What a joke our correctional system is! Perhaps, someone in jail, pending a trial and still not found officially...

Snapdragon, You are right. That child may have appeared dead or unconscious... Leila looked like a petite little girl. Someone could have walked up behind her, and simply restrained her and covered her mouth. She may not have been able to put up any kind of fight...I pray this monster did walk...
