No prostitution... during spring break in MB, sex isn't exactly something anyone has to pay for, lol. But honestly, I've lived in SC all my life and vacationed in MB very often growing up, and I don't recall ever seeing or hearing about prostitution along the boulevard.

There would have been tons of teens not only walking along the strip, but also hanging off their balconies and such. The party doesn't stop during spring break in MB...

We had a problem with wild boar on my grandparent's farm in the lowcountry. LE better keep their guns ready... and even then, if a wild boar is charging you, a bullet won't always stop it.

She might have been going to the bar, but I do think if she said she was going to pick up her flip flops, that they were probably just nice flip flops. I've got plenty of pairs of 5 dollar flip flops, but I have a pair of 45 dollar flip flops that I would gladly walk a mile to get back!

They can be vicious. I have seen girls spread hurtful (and very damaging) rumors and create myspace pages that I think are just hateful, all over some girl getting a boy that another girl likes. I've known a girl to get her teeth knocked out (yes, her front teeth!) over accidentally staining...

Is your hinky meter off the radar with them? Mine is... Maybe it's nothing, but... I have two sisters, high school and college age, and I have seen how quickly even the sweetest group of girls can turn on one girl. It is scary, really.

If the girls knew she was just stopping by the boys' hotel to pick up flip flops, why call and ask for the shorts back? Weren't they expecting her back right away anyways? And if one of the girls wanted to wear the shorts that night, why let B leave with them on? I'd like to know what all...

MB has *always* been shady. Is it getting shadier? I always wonder when I end up down that way, whether it is now shadier or my standards have changed a little since my teens.

I don't know if the capability exists to do that, but I do know that cell phone service is scarce in the Santee River area. My family has a reunion every June on the Santee and most of our cells (from a variety of companies) lose service miles before we even get to the river.

If the girl from John G's comments is in fact J.O. from Brittanee's spring break trip, then John at least knew J.O. for a few months. I didn't go back far, but she had left him several comments that looked like they were friends.
