    The (Alleged) Abduction

Simply giving a drunk person a ride cannot be considered abduction. Giving a ride to someone too drunk to consent to the ride cannot be abduction. Nobody can seriously believe we would want to construct such a law! Unless we want a lot more inebriated partiers just left on the...

JLM: What Do We Know About Him? - #2

Yep, that's right. SP was actually going on a little hair-dyed "camping trip" in Torrey Pines when the identifications of LP and CP were announced.

Do I remember something like that in the Scott Peterson case? (or Casey Anthony?)

JLM: What Do We Know About Him? - #2

Yes, this gets off into the arrest topic a bit, but I thought the whole sequence was strange. He asked a couple of questions then just complied, seemingly without satisfying answers to those questions. Why would he have not accepted the free attorney to challenge extradition or the warrant...

    The (Alleged) Abduction

I think this is a very clear analysis. From the info released to and observable by the public there is no evidence of the act of abduction. I know it is emotionally difficult to consider that fact, but it is very important to do so. If you think about it, we as a society don't want to...

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

Believe me, I'm aware of that. ;)

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

Not strange. She spent a good deal of time in a part of the world where 21 is not the drinking age. She is much more experienced with alcohol than the average 18 year old. This does not go to blaming the victim, it is simply a fact of the case.

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

BBM Don't be confused. Some of what LI-Mom posted is opinion, and some is fact. The statement, "But there is nothing on videos or eyewitness statements of that to indicate behavior of a lost person" is a fact. You can see with your own eyes. As to your point, "Seems to go against what...

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

http://insidecville.com/blog/ljs-timeline/ “It’s possible some people were confused,” Gallagher says. “Because most of the night there was a woman here with friends, sitting at the end of the bar, wearing a sequined crop top. But it wasn’t Hannah. It was a woman a few years older than Hannah...

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

I'm guessing you know that is not what happened, for a number of reasons. Did he drink, or they drink? -Likely they drank. There is no reasonable circumstance that upon finding a hot, young, slightly intoxicated potential victim who had not yet rejected or run from him, that he would say...

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

Tempo did not say the bold part. Why do you believe that is true? Doesn't seem likely to me.

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

Really excellent points. The probable cause supporting intent to defile is still a mystery outside LE. I hoped to develop a refined list filtered by how solid the support would be, but got no takers on a previous post. To follow up the specifics: (acknowledging you said, "something like")...

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

Don't know for a fact, but I would assume it is the obvious, to keep under aged patrons from going inside. It prevents bartenders from accidentally serving minors. Maybe someone local could comment on whether it is the law for an establishment serving alcohol after the kitchen is closed.

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

It is possible for the doorperson to be 100% credible and for it to fit a reasonable, common sense sequence of events. The key is making small, reasonable assumptions and avoiding large leaps of speculation.

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

You hit on something my brain is trying to balance. The video we see with our own eyes, and the physical capabilities that are demonstrated by HG in her march downtown, are contrasted by the hearsay descriptions of her being wasted and incapacitated. I have learned long ago not to trust...

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

This was posted 5 days after she went missing: "Search crews are being given out new assignments around water street garage. Dogs picked up Hannah's scent toward there @wsls" https://twitter.com/AnandaRochita/status/512302755374198784...

    Tempo Restaurant: What Happened There?

If her phone went dead at 1:20 (who really knows...), that somebody then walked with HG through a very busy place as patrons were ditching bars after last call. He walked with HG right by the ID girl at Tempo. Not sure the phone going dead is really evidence of anything at this point, but...
