WRAL has a picture of JLY sitting at the table reading the newspaper as the jury deliberates. I couldn't help but wonder if it was a USA Today. :angel:

They don't have a choice about this weekend. The judge announced yesterday that there is some work being done to the courthouse this weekend and they won't be permitted inside.

Thanks for your posts from inside the courtroom, JTF. I hope the jury comes back with a G verdict this afternoon so you can be there to witness it. You've poured so much effort into this case, it seems only fitting you should be there to see it come to an end. :)

I'm really hoping for a dramatic ending like the one he had in the Cooper case, when he held his throat for three full minutes. Hitting the table 30 times would be mighty effective.

If he was innocent and had cooperated, he could have been exonerated early on. Being that IMO he's guilty, I think not coming off as so suspicious right from the get-go (hanging up on the cops, etc.) he may have at least delayed his arrest enough that it might not have happened at all. Maybe...

I agree. If he had cooperated and at least played the part of the grieving husband he likely would have never been arrested.

My personal opinion is that he's guilty, but I voted above for a hung jury. I hope I'm wrong and that they convict him!

PY had testified about all that cash and jewelry being stolen, but the Nationwide agent says the claim only included damage to the home. No theft reported.
