We were told one was a scent dog and cadaver. Some scent dogs are cross trained. You stated they are never cross trained I was only letting you know that some are. Was this FBI Scent dog cross trained. My opinion is yes. Narcotics and tracking human. How ever it could have been the cadaver...

They can and do cross train dogs. They never cross train an explosive dog with anything

Since they were FBI dogs I would suspect their scent dogs are able to find a drug scent as well. I do believe they are trained to sit, bark, ect at a particular scent. jmo

No there has been no statement at all about what the dogs hit on. They took a pillow and carpet from the abandoned car. Could have been drugs could have been cadaver. Since I don't know any more than what le lets out it is all theory and jmo at the time I thinking down that line.
