Is that saying they’ve had contact with her in the past?? Or contact is in recent, after she was reported missing?? I’m finding no other media about this so I’m wondering if it’s poorly worded reporting.

I thought about that too because it would be difficult to drive 10 ish hours alone with a toddler. But her dad and grandfather said she was Facebook messaging a guy who asked her to come to Florida. So I think she drove up there alone at night when kam was sleeping. Moo

Because they believe she is in danger, I tend to feel they have surveillance that shows she’s in danger. Moo, based on her history some would chalk it up to some sort of nefarious behavior on her part. But LE believes she’s in danger and they are the ones reviewing her digital data and...

Agree with this and sadly it’s just a matter of time before we hear the horrible details.

I’m confident LE is actively looking at all surveillance activity as we speak. It’s not a quick task. No doubt they are going through all the electronic data and footage, unfortunately that does take time. Moo

But LE says she was last seen near the Walmart in Florida. I’m assuming it’s her car on a surveillance camera but we don’t know. If it was her car and they couldn’t see her, they’d say her car was last seen. But they said she was last seen in Hollywood.

I’d bet LE is tracking down this man as we speak. I’d bet then once we hear from him, his story will be that he did hang out with her but that he’d dropped them off together. Her and the boy near those apartments. Happy and healthy. And hasn’t heard from her since. Ugh

If Leila met up with a man she met through Facebook, it makes sense that he’d let the boy go. If he had nefarious plans, they didn’t include a kid. His plans could have been sexually motivated and the kid was in the way. He could have just dropped him off to get him out of the way.

From working with families of missing persons I’ve noticed that they go through periods of time where they are active and then they take a break for a time. It’s a tough, emotionally draining process. Moo

Police believe she’s in danger. They have video surveillance of something we don’t know what. Wonder if/when they’ll release that? I’m guessing the footage may have another person in it they are trying to locate? Maybe? Otherwise why not release it?
