If the car is offline now then there has to be a point when it was online, right? Where was its last known location?

What kind of evidence would have warranted an arrest and then a release while they investigate? Don’t LE normally do the investigation first, and then the arrest and the charge? Something seems off.

I can’t find in any of the articles I’ve read how she lost both her phone and her wallet. It seems strange that the police wouldn’t have been able to at least see what direction she went on CCTV. There are cameras everywhere in the city.
