My grandfather used to say if duct tape couldn’t fix it, a coat of paint could. There are some things even duck tape can't fix.

I don't follow YouTube at all. The only true crime I’ve watched are WS, Profiling Evil, and The Interview Room. Mike and Chris have extensive LE backgrounds. I watched a few minutes of the Cher “Show” YouTube. What’s the background of the Cher couple?I was curious also.
It might be offered by CPS as a condition of getting the boys back. Whether they’re availing themselves of it, who knows? Is anyone giving professional help to these people? This seems to be clearly a recipe for total disaster. Why don't we hear of anyone helping them? I am very worried for both of them. Their worlds have imploded, and they are making it worse, but I believe they are making in worse because of undefined mental issues, stress, obviously Summer and the boys being gone, on and on. Is their no one who reads here that lives in the area and can try to do an intervention, or guide them to some help, or don't they want, or won't accept help. This all MOO. Katt
CM actually explained this last night. He said the family doesn’t speak much but when DW’s step-sister heard Summer was missing, she immediately thought that Don had done something to her and felt she needed to speak out about her experiences.
They might, for Summer’s sake, but I’m pretty sure coffee with DW ain’t happening.I cant imagine Equasearch would come near this with a 10 ft pole any longer.
That's another thing. DW was told by his attorney to remain silent on SM. Which lasted all of a day. Why is he not doing everything he can to get them back!? It seems his arrogance is eclipsing everything else. His main focus right now should be trying to find Summer and getting the boys back not all this SM chaos. It might be offered by CPS as a condition of getting the boys back. Whether they’re availing themselves of it, who knows?
Good for her! At least someone in this family tried to be helpful instead of a distraction.CM said a female member of the Utah family contacted TBI as soon as they learned Summer was missing.
You can be sure this isn't the first time she has seen them act this way. What an unbelievable circus.
I think grandma knew it would turn into this and got the heck out of Dodge.
MOO
There are a lot of steps before parental rights are terminated. The goal of CPS is to reunite families.I realize all cases are different and therefore the allowed or expected timeframes are vastly different as well, but what is the average length of time it generally takes parents to get their children back when they have been removed by CPS? Or does anyone know if there is a set time for how long children can be in CPS care before rights are terminated or does that time vary with each case as well? The boys have been gone for quite some time now havent they?

Ok I’m jumping in to listen to the latest CM and the Chers. If I’m not back in 2 hours, send help.
Yes, the goal is to keep families together, not to separate children from their parents permanently. If the court has made certain recommendations they will monitor them to make sure the parents are meeting any requirements made by CPS or the judge. It takes a lot to get your rights terminated - reunification is always the first goal, and that can take time. CPS can require parenting classes, therapy (and not just one or two sessions), supervised visits progressing to one-on-one visits. It can take a very long time.

Once children are placed in the custody of the state, it can take up to a year to get them back. Every case is unique, but it always seems to be a long process. In this case it may depend on the investigation and whether or not the parents were negligent or responsible for Summer's disappearance. Imo
You know what they say about telling the truth... it's easier to remember than a lie!The first time DW stated that it was on June 15 that the Pathfinder was there, then he corrected his statement and said it was the day before.
He is always correcting himself.
