CO - Gannon Stauch, 11, found deceased, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, 27 Jan 2020 *Arrest* #68

Pretty sure the alternates are kept under subpoena until a verdict is reached. That way if a juror gets sick or is otherwise unable to finish they still have the 12 to render a verdict. ETA: I don't think it's called a subpoena for jurors but idk the term.

I don't think the hours of deliberation counts are accurate. We aren't counting meals, breaks, time spent moving/reviewing evidence, electing a foreperson, going over the charges and paperwork, etc. I know they were sent back over 6 hours ago but they actually maybe have only been deliberating...

We don't know that they aren't. I would guess there is a lot of paperwork/evidence to go through and I would hope they are being thorough.

This isn't a psychological evaluation, this is coaching, plain and simple! How is this even allowed?

If all her testimony is like this, I would hope the number is small. I'm curious why the defense hired her, what her record claims to show.

Does anyone know Dr. Lewis' track record? How many people that she has testified on behalf of have been found NGRI?

Ok I get all of you saying the prosecution should be softer on her but hear me out. She CHOSE to take this case. She is CHOOSING to be paid for this. She testified that she has testified before. She knew full well that she would be open to cross examination and what that might entail. I don't...

This lady isn't credible. The jury sees it. The end.

Yikes! This is painful. Can you imagine taking a class from this lady? At least the defendant is now paying attention with her head up.

This may have been brought up already but the mispronounced words are driving me crazy! CoOBerate rather than CoRRoborate DisASSociative rather than Dissociative Etc.

I noticed something today in the videos. LS frequently says, "ya know what I mean?" She's wanting them to agree with her. She's trying to gauge their belief in what she is saying. That's not insanity.

There's a part of me that hopes AS and HH reconnect. I think they care about each other and I think they could help each other. Moreover, HH really could use some family that's not LS's.

I hope this hasn't already been asked... what is the prosecution strategy for playing this entire video? It's boring, off-putting, and isn't really giving anything that they don't already know. Is this typical? Have I missed something?

VA - Johnny Depp's defamation case against ex Amber Heard, who countersued #5

Let me state first of all that i think AH is a liar and I hope she loses. That said, I disagree with the above assessments of JDs attorney. I found her to be abrupt and rude and feel if she doesn't tone it down, it won't sit well with the jury.

Ok 2 things bugging me: 1. As a Harry Potter fan, the name is Dursley. Chad doesn't even get the name right. And how dare he use a great children's novel to describe his situation! And 2. "Loin fire"? Gross! ETA: One comment on the article on EIN said "I'm pretty sure 'loin fire' is an STD"...

Eagle Mountain is NOT on the way to SLC from Moab. It's about 30 minutes out of the way and, while that doesn't seem like a big distance, you wouldn't go that direction unless you knew the area.
