I wonder how close she lived to neighbors. Didn't they notice her cars hadn't moved for all that time and they hadn't seen a sign of her or the baby? Call me a noisy neighbor but I would have noticed and called the police (after I knocked on the door and looked through the windows...lol).
Sounds like there was no real efforts to find her until the Dad and brother went down there. What were the odds she would stay where there was a murderer in her midst. So terribly sad if the body is hers, and I can't imagine that it's not.
After watching this press conference I am sad. The poor Sheriff looked so sad when he was standing in the background, almost like he could cry. He has been wonderful during all of this and I can't think of anything else they could be doing at this point.
Maybe on the 911 call the dispatcher called back, couldn't get anyone...hence, possible suicide. First officer arrives, jumps out of car. Before he has walked up to house, he sees man down in doorway and thinks the door was kicked in. Anyone would rather think it's a suicide than something so...
Checking in after three hours sleep for any news. My eyes hurt, I haven't been able to get off this site for days. I'm really worried after all these days of no news.
I believe a high powered rifle sounds like a cracking noise and a shotgun sounds like a large boom. Don't know why, I've thought all along it was a shotgun. IMO Dad was shot in the doorway, followed by Mom in the bedroom. Mom may have been dialing 911 when shot. Only my opinion, but who really...
When they showed how far away the neighbors lived, with all the woods in between, I don't think they would be concerned with anything except their mission at the moment. IMO it all happened extremely fast.
IMO he was trying to keep hopes up for the family and others. Remember he hasn't seen anything like this before in that area and he has nothing indicating differently.
I heard it from the Sheriff on HLN on the 7 pm EST. Not sure where everyone else heard it. Also was the first time I heard they have the phone the 911 call was made from. IMO they probably heard Jayme crying in the background, that's how they would know for sure she was there.
