That was Feb. 24. Here, on March 8, they are saying, yes, they do have DNA:
Indiana State Police superintendent Doug Carter says they have several pieces and parts but they are looking for the one piece of evidence that will crack the case.
I know that we have the human element we have a...
Here again, two and a half weeks later, they talk about having DNA. Can you please link the article where they retract the statement that they have DNA? Thanks.

I didn't have any concerns, I was just replying to the other poster who felt that twist on words was odd and stated she couldn't locate the article so I found and posted for her. Like I said, it had never crossed my mind before and the scenario she offered as opinion is terrible and nothing I...
That is an awful, awful thought that had never crossed my mind before and I am promptly putting it out of my mind. That being said, I found this link that refers to LE "treating it as a double homicide." It was the only one I could find...
I understand what you are saying, however, I would think hearing about them possibly drowned, dragged, held at gun point, sexually assaulted, naked and all of the very many things discussed here on this board would be extremely upsetting to a family member, which is why, if I were a family...
I understood that the crime scene had been cleared and released back to him by the time he went down and called it pristine. I'm not sure if I read that somewhere or came up with it on my own though, so JMO since I can't recall where that info came from.
I agree with that. I've never believed everything happened right where they were found. The thing is, every single situation I run through my head has pieces that don't fit. I think we'll all be shocked if we ever find out what truly happened.
There are other ways besides autopsy results that would have led crime scene analysts to believe the girls had been sexually assaulted and sent them in that direction (looking at sex offenders.) IMO.
I don't think they were drowned, but maybe "cleaned" in the water? (or maybe not, I'm not hard set on that idea) ...... but ..... I think he would maybe have tried to bring them up into the wooded area to conceal them. I really don't know at this point, there are so many different ways this...
When they released the voice, I immediately thought it was someone who is a teacher or coach due to the tone of their voice and the way they sound like they are calmly in control. I <modsnip> Anyhow, I definitely think the teacher/coach angle is plausible for several reasons. 1. He sounded in...
Okay, so I listened and the one thing that really stood out was him saying, "all kinds of bad things that should be happening to these people (and/or person)." In my opinion they really do think there was more than one person. Every time I see a non LE person talks about this case they refer...
