TX TX - Caleb Harris, 21, Texas A&M University student, Corpus Christi, 4 Mar 2024

I’m local, born and raised in Corpus. I too find the lack of talk and info from LE very bizarre. I’m involved with our local Crime Stoppers and spoke with a few officers who confirmed early on that they had absolutely nothing to go on, no leads at all- that Caleb literally vanished into thin...

Found Deceased TX - Savanah Soto, 18, Leon Valley, 22 December 2023

It was the police chief’s description of the crime scene as “perplexing." A murder/suicide or murder by a third party would likely be with a gun and somewhat clear cut rather than perplexing…?

Found Deceased TX - Savanah Soto, 18, Leon Valley, 22 December 2023

My god, it almost sounds as though this beautiful girl was killed for her baby

TX - Lizbeth Medina, 16, high school cheerleader, found dead in bedroom, murder suspect arrested - Edna, 5 Dec 2023

I live an hour+ from Edna and drive through the area often. It is a very small Texas town with a vibrant community that revolves around high school sports. The athletes, and presumably the cheerleaders, are visible and high profile. It’s unlikely that the person who did this wasn’t known to...

Found Deceased TX - Phillip Loveday, 47, Pastor, left phone at home, no show at work, Corpus Christi, 2 August 2023

This is local to me. It’s like he just vanished. But there’s something lacking in the family and LE messaging that leads me to think voluntarily missing. Very sad, he’s known and loved by so many.

TX - Cash Gernon, 4, found dead in street w/multiple wounds, Dallas, 15 May 2021 *ARREST*

I’m heartbroken for that beautiful boy. And I can’t help but think there is so much more to this bizarre story.

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

DA John Hubert is a superb prosecutor and a humble man who feels great compassion for and responsibility to the victims he represents. What happened to the Butlers is truly horrific but John Hubert will ensure that justice is delivered, and in a professional, thorough manner. On a side note...

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

There was quite a bit of chaos and displaced residents following Harvey, but the area has rebounded quite well. So, while I don’t think it’s necessarily correlated to the hurricane, there has been an uptick in violent crime around here in general. But some pockets of the beach have always been a...

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

That's a good point. You would think the person would want to minimize time and visibility driving the truck and get to Mexico as quick as possible.

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

There are access roads but they are few and far between. I’m having a hard time ascertaining exactly where they were found but, generally, there are lots of isolated pockets in that area.

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

Mimosa, I don’t want to discourage you! Corpus beaches are absolutely safe and fun in the daylight. The area RV parks are luxurious, cozy and secure. And there are also some rich birding areas inside the city and areas in the opposite direction of the beach.

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

I believe that the bodies were found somewhat near the pier but not anywhere near an RV park.

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

I know that truetexan posted a map indicating that the bodies were found in the Padre Island National Seashore (PINS) but I’m not certain of that. PINS has one entrance/one exit, charges a small fee on entrance; it’s a national park and is highly federally regulated. It’s probably the safest...

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

Overnight camping on the greater beach area isn’t legal but not tightly monitored. Camping inside the Padre Island National Seashore is legal and costs a modest amount. I’m still trying to make sense of the news reports to figure out where exactly the bodies were found.

TX - James, 48 & Michelle Butler, 46, driving RV to Fort Lauderdale from Corpus Christi, 14 Oct 2019

Hi there, I’m local, born and raised in Corpus Christi. I grew up going to the beach during the day and bonfires at night, and now have a home on the beach a few miles from this area. Large stretches of the beach are desolate, dark; sound and activity in these areas is insulated by immense...

MS - Alexandria "Ally" Kostial, 21, Ole Miss student, found dead, Harmontown, 20 July 2019 *ARREST*

This is all just horrendous, my heart breaks for Ally and all who loved her. We don’t know many facts yet but this case seriously reminds me of UT student Colton Pitonyak and the beautiful woman he killed in a drug and alcohol haze. Privileged kid got far into drugs and shot and butchered his...
