What could she possibly be saying that cause someone to harm her? More lies? Who is she throwing under the bus now. What else can she say about Travis that could hurt anymore that she already has? Must be her father because of what Nurmi said in his opening. Taking a page from someone in...
Wow! What a day. I am so glad she is already convicted of first degree. I was so worried last time. We will get through this. Just want the Alexanders to get this over and move on the best they can. They are amazing.

Frigga,
I think JA enjoys seeing the results of actions. I think she not only wants to destroy Travis, but anyone who loved him. All part of her scorched earth belief..if I cannot have him..no one can. "I'll show you; all of you"

Agree, LinasK, I think that mitigator is an insult to all 27 year olds. Maybe, they should not vote, serve in the military..ridiculous!

Hopefully, these statements will bring the true Travis through the next few weeks as Nurmi and CO trash him. So angry this is allowed with absolutely no proof..just JA's lies

Great discussion last night and this morning on previous thread about victim's rights. While trying to allow a defendant to get a fair trial, very often the victim of a crime is the subject of further victimization along with family and friends.
I take the position that some speck of evidence...
MeeBee,
Why can't we ask that anytime an accusation is made about a murder victim that some kind of proof is required. For instance, if JA wants to insinuate that Travis was a pedophile there has to be pictures on computers or in his dresser drawers or people have seen something. This whole...
Ocean, you write what I was thinking but so much better. So discouraging that trying to provide justice for the accused, we continue to victimize victim who cannot speak for themselves. We have to come to some kind of middle road, no bashing the victim unless there is some proof.

I think Wilmott interviewed a juvenile in CA about this case. Could it be Darrell B's son who will say JA gave them a DVD player and remote? She said she had to go back to Darrell's place because she had inadvertently taken a remote from Darrell's house? Gosh, I hope!

Katie, seems like "let's throw anything against the wall" defense. Hurts Travis or family, who cares? Even the mitigating factors are shots in the dark. They hope the reach one juror which they did last time. They seem empowered to continue this strategy. I agree, courts should not allow...

I agree with Katie..you are an all star poster. I think she lured him into that position because she had more control as she stabbed him. He fought with hands and feet..how painful. One of the first stab wounds was to the heart..accidental? I think not..she meant to hurt his heart..very...
Using the fact that she was 27 as a mitigator is an insult to all 27 year olds. Maybe we should not let people that age vote or drive since they are such young innocents. She was on her own from 15 on. I think Nurmi is blowing it this time. I think he was more persuasive the first time...
I remember during her interview with DT Flores in CA, she showed him that finger indicating that the intruders hurt it. I believe she cut it deeply during the murder and that is the cause of her palm print on the wall mixing her blood with Travis'.

The Alexander family should be wearing the blue ribbons. Travis was the real victim of domestic violence....stalking and MURDER! He is the victim not her

I am afraid I disagree...too many psychologists make excuses and feel sorry for people. JMO But, agree about the high iQ.
Really wish we could see this!

Prosecution did a far better job this time. Maybe the other charges during the last trial distracted them or the jury. I thought the "actions speak louder than words" was right on by Guy. Hit the nail on the head.
As an aside, if I lived in Jacksonville, I would be concerned that a fellow...
