That's what I am thinking but where could he hitch a ride without being seen by driver, other motorists or cameras?

I don't believe the phone or Corrie were in the rubbish otherwise trace of either would have been found. It is possible that either or both were together on the bin lorry and that he got out at Barton Mills or that he was in another vehicle that happened to follow a similar route as the bin...

    Just a quick one for you point 1 = Pizza point 2 = Grapes point 3 = Hughes point 4 = Bin area. http://tinyurl.com/zqaq8v4

Apparently the Police have been around the area, on rooftops etc. So he sends a picture message at 3.08 and this CCTV is 03.24 and is what 1 minute away from Hughes doorway. Do the police know what time he left that doorway?

So did he not come out of there? Nothing else to show until the bin lorry turned up? Still looks pretty drunk. Anyone know if the Police gave this area a good going over?

OmG - that new CCTV looks like it is from the camera outside Greenwoods as my post above! He seems to take a lot of interest in the Bins or bike stand area...

There are a couple of cameras on the front of Cornhill shopping centre and the older building opposite (opposite Mcdonalds). If they were working? Also there is what looks like a camera on the greenwoods building that would possibly cover the back of greggs but I suppose it depends if it was...

10 miles as the crow flies. I would stick to the roads from that point though as its all hard terrain, wooded or lots of water, and he hasn't been seen. You would think someone would have seen him. http://tinyurl.com/hvr9wat

But if he had just had a nice 2 hour sleep would he bother going to sleep again? Was he actually heading back to his car - I wish they would say where he parked it. The bin area actually looks like the only place within a few steps that doesn't have CCTV coverage (using google streetview from...

Why not show some of the earlier CCTV they must have between Flex - past the grapes to Pizza Mamma mia the back past the grapes but turning and going down Brengovel Street (CCTV they have shown) If they had released a few more minutes of this CCTV you would see him go into the Hughes doorway...

This is a puzzler for me. Just been reading the thread and catching up. Some interesting points being made. I might have missed it but do we know where Corrie parked his car, has that info been released?

Three doors if you include the bedroom just to the left of the balcony, sliding doors in case you have trouble opening them whilst restraining a small drunk girl.

Both points correct but we don't know what point on the tape recording the witness saw the legs either.

That witness did not know what had happened or was currently happening inside.

I put my "Cheese knife" in quotes but I don't actually mean a proper cheese knife I did just mean any knife that could have been used to cut that cheese on the counter. Tostee doesn't look like a cheese knife Brah to me!

Maybe it was the "Cheese knife" she grabbed that he made her drop in the audio (falling onto table making the thud?) Maybe when he put her on the balcony he picked it up and threatened her with it, maybe the unscrewing sound is just the telescope bracket and maybe he removed the knife ? JMO

Or cheese cutting knife? As someone said - cheese is out on counter (am sure that is what is is) but no knife to cut it with? Unless he had placed it in the sink. Would that be listed somewhere in police evidence?
