Judges do it all the time and I've never heard of it being a problem in appeal but maybe it has been. The Devault judge did it and basically told her she was never abused. I think maybe it just isn't in JSS's nature and maybe she just wants to be done with it. Like Sam said, she's not worth the...
That's the new tactic. Just like in this phase, say we had witnesses that saw bruises but we couldn't call them because of the threats an' all. If nothing else, they think it'll be ineffective assistance.
I think she was reading from a list she was given by defense as things she considered... But not really. If she bought any of it she would have been merciful.
Very much over the posts that say Jodi is not the worst of the worst, one of the most evil. Lo and behold, the fog lifts just enough for her to let Travis' family know he WAS conscious when she slashed his throat. That is so awful and evil and twisted. Just because she does it in her little...
There are many things that make this case different
The multitude of interviews she gave before her trial even started. Yes killer have given an interview or two before, but not at the volume she has and with such obvious enjoyment at being in the spotlight. The ease with which lies roll off...
Yeah unfortunately it is a pay site but if you have any questions for Juan pass them along! I'm already writing mine down lol. They'll be taking the questions in another show before he is on.
I don't think they'd be obligated to not say anything negative about her but they probably won't since they've got this whole victim thing going right now.
I just came by to say in case you guys didn't know that Juan Martinez will be on TTL some time after the sentencing and he will be taking questions. Should be fascinating.
Mark Eiglarsh said it as a joke when he was discussing what a colossal mistake it was for the defense to introduce the sex call. Exact quote:
"I believe it was Aristotle that said, he who introduces KY into the relationship is no abused virgin."
I just thought it was funny. Obviously...
That's not the only reason she was misguided in thinking this. Prison doesn't really work like that. Inmates don't get to act like Maria Rainer, gathering everyone around to bestow their superior knowledge on others. I mean she could certainly try in an informal way while hanging out in the...
Yes this was in the original trial and was the reason she gave the IQ test. It was because Jodi acted so oddly immature and giddy and didn't seem to comprehend the severity of her situation and she wondered if she was an idiot. Not only was she not she was very bright, according to Demarte...
She tested at 119 which was high and had a very high verbal score. Every other category was more or less average. Funny was Demarte also said she reads at an 8th grade level. Ouch.
Yes I think the defense would have admitted them if they could but they didn't have the originals and it was improper and the judge rules against them. But I recall Juan having some documents experts on his witness list and in the retrial Jodi tried getting them in again. I'd just love to hear...
