When my friend passed away, his wife received 2. The first one was incomplete but good enough to use for some minor things she had to take care of until the final one arrived... with cause of death. This of-course was needed for major things, insurance pay out, bank, etc.

All the actions taken when she was late were reasonable. It's going to be the time of each occurrence that is of interest to me.
