GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #3

Same here. 2 days gone without any news. I am currently speculating different theories about why media is quiet. There is one where LE threatens journalists with chopsticks.

I would agree but the first photo of him was much better. So don't think he did it... I am still considering other options.

Heard my name :) It wasn't me, I think Yashim posted that. I am not sure what will happen though.

GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #3

I think its been discussed before. She had 2 luggages and the green bag with the "my way" writing on it (the one she uses always) in the room. I couldn't find it now but I've seen photos of all. They reported she went to Amsterdam with only one bag...

GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #3

I noticed it while translating. He doesn't say I spoke to her. I wouldn't say it means he spoke to her. However this interview was done by a turkish journalist in NY. It was obviously made in english and translated to turkish. And I translated it back to english. So again I wonder if we lost the...

I couldn't find the part mentioning Taylan's friend. Is it in a different link? Only if he/she interested. I have no idea where the cameras in the area I live (reminds me its probably good to check)

It is weird. Even weirder it didn't happen in Turkey. I only witnessed this once in a bar but he claims it happened in many places including a library. My friend is Greek and girls are from different nationalities. p.s. I always thank when a guy holds the door for me

Yes, a bit shocking to me. Also says she last spoke to kids on 15th. I think we thought 20th didn't we? Your Turkish is improving :floorlaugh: (or google translate using skills) and you find new articles before anyone else.

GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #3

How was Sarai? She was an amazing person, love of my life and mother of my kids. We are both religious people we met while praying at the church. 2 years later we got married. She was happy and cheerful. She was studying psychology in Staten Island College. She wanted to specialize on Child...

Yashim, are you going to translate or should I do it? Good guess/scenario by the way.

People tend to be very curious in Turkey. Not saying it especially for the airbnb guy but they can ask you this question even when you just met. -That reminds me a friend of mine: he was complaining the other day that whenever he says hi to a girl, girl replies "I have a boyfriend." He kept...

GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #3

I really don't think she was involved in drugs but I will guess anyway. AMS-MUN-IST - I would say but doesn't sound possible. Why to double risk it with double security check? Unless she took a train MUN-IST - She was going to meet with the drug dealer there to give the drugs and get the...

Yes, he is holding information and enjoys when we are trying to make sense of contradicting media speculations.

GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #3

It was written on the 28th. The postman says it was 15-20 days ago. So a parcel for her from US in her first week.? By the way I thought she was living in the basement and the airbnb guy was on the ground floor? I didn't get who postman refers to by saying friend. It could be SS, the...

GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #3

:what: Never remember seeing them. These are old ones, from before she was found. The first one says there was a parcel for her and she disappeared after receiving it. Second one: they talk to the postman. He says about 15-20 days ago I came to this building. He hasn't seen her. He says...

I do the same too but it is still strange when I think she passed the bridge at least 8 times with either tram or on foot. Not any that I can remember. There is one at Karakoy just before the Galata bridge. By the way the best Starbucks ever is the one in Bebek. I think ThinkHard said the...

It was a inside joke because I didn't know how to translate. It is a generalization/preconception saying that all Taylans have dark hair and they are all jerks. I translated "yavsak" as jerk but I don't know if there is a better translation. My dictionary says...
