To me, this doesn't mean that she wasn't in her car for the beginning of the fire or that she WAS. IMO, it means that she wasn't still on fire when they found her. It contradicts earlier reports that she was walking in the road while on fire.

Didn't Champion say in this press conference that Jessica was not at home during the morning hours? I think this is contrary to what has been reported by her mother. And didn't her grandmother say she talked to her on the porch that morning? Have I finally let this case drive me crazy?

Something along these lines is exactly what I've been thinking from the start, except I don't necessarily believe she was raped. More along the lines of having consensual sex and being caught in the act. I don't know why, but I haven't been able to let go of this theory. JMO

I'm still here....reading...hoping for an arrest soon. Meanwhile, I don't have anything noteworthy to add. I will say, though, that this is the strangest, most frustrating case with the least news coverage I've ever followed on WS.

I respectfully disagree in part. I believe Jessica was intentionally burned alive out of jealousy and revenge and it had been planned to happen on that night at that place and time. JMO, of course. I do believe the car was burned to cover up any evidence such as DNA or fingerprints, though.

Eric Bibbs said they told him his name was mentioned. They didn't specify first or last name, BUT also in that interview, Eric Bibbs said someone at the scene said "the only ERIC I know around here is Eric Bibbs." So, yeah, this sounds like LE meant a first name, not a last name.

I'm assuming the clothes Jessica had on when she was lit afire had burned off.
