Some campers in Fish Lake Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada noticed a loon coming towards them, which is unusual.
The distressed loon seemed to ask for their help to get fishing gear off of its body. Luckily the campers were able to remove the gear from its bill, neck and leg.
The loon was...
I'm not surprised... I've taken a cruise to Alaska and most guests seemed older in age.
It definitely happens more than we think. Ugh, I try not to read statistics because it gets difficult to think about staying in hotels, cruise ships, even airplanes, knowing that someone possibly passed...
I hope Chester has found happiness and peace. I was shocked and heartbroken to hear what happened. I still don't want to believe it. I grew up listening to him.
It's especially difficult for me to believe that this happened to someone who helped many people around the world with his music. He...
If Shadi's cell phone was taken, then there must have been something on the phone that would have linked the killer(s) to the two boys. Maybe a text message convo?
And if the boys were killed while in the vehicle, the killer(s) would have had to open the door - unless a window was open (or...

I didn't know Kuijer was depressed. Going to the bank probably did mean money issues.
I put this in the General Crimes forum (instead of crimes against children) because a female bank worker was stabbed.

Really interesting tidbit... found a random lady on FB who commented that she lived in that house from 1988-1990. She mentioned how they would climb up the back wall, as kids, to get to the businesses behind.
If the surveillance camera didn't catch anything, I hope they searched every bit of...
[emoji33] I didn't know this was possible. My mom always warned me not to go too close to the water at every beach we've ever visited. She would scare me and say the ocean chooses who it's going to take. I'll especially be careful in Oregon.
That is completely devastating for the mom/wife to...
Poor dog...
Though rare, I've always suspected that there are dogs out there being secretly abused this way.
My hope is that abusers of all kinds who especially harm innocent humans and/or animals who cannot speak for themselves are given the justice they deserve.
Quite fishy...
Put your wife's personal belongings in a safe and never question where she is?
Here is her FB: https://m.facebook.com/cecilia.bustamante.1217
I have been following Sarah's case for awhile and I agree with some posters here that this probably wasn't a suicide.
I don't remember where but someone mentioned that the bridge where the car was parked was not popular for suicides - something about the height of the bridge or water being too...

I looked at two photos that he posted of his girlfriend. There are very interesting comments from the girlfriend's ex - but I'm not pointing any fingers here. He was driving from a party in the dark. So many people have randomly gotten...
Her brother came home and saw his mother stabbing Rachael with a knife. He had to grab his mom during the attack. What an ordeal.

Canada's Vancouver Police got a treat for Christmas. Carollers surrounded the police car on the street, singing "Police Navidad" while the car flashed its police lights.
