She lives with her sister and her family a shade over 2.5 miles from where her car was found. You would end up on the road of the town hall to either towards Rochester or the other way would take you towards the lights, to which would take you onto Rt. 28. There is also the road called Maple St...
<modsnip: no source link>
I have questions about the car and when it was dropped off. The police station is RIGHT there near the Town Hall. Surely one of them knew it was her car and would have noticed it there for a few days? She decorates pumpkins and other things for the town. She is well...
A lot of us feel the same way. <modsnip: no link> We had helicopters going low around our house, it was strange, as one was very loud and scared hubby and I. We were like "what the heck?" Wondering why this information wasn't out sooner that Ashley was missing. Time is so important in these...
Tricky thing is, the Town Hall sometimes closes during holiday weeks. I know the library across the street was closed for four days during Christmas and four days during New Years. I wish I knew the answer to that.
Only the church has a camera <modsnip>. Town Hall and Fire Department do not...
<modsnip> I just hope people don't focus on the mental health issue, as she is missing and needs to be found. Our town is small, very countrified. Lots and lots of water- gushing river not too far from the town hall, I used to walk that area a lot when my kids were at (sports) practice. Lots of...
Howdy neighbor! <modsnip> We were trying to figure out if the town hall was open that morning. If anyone saw her in her car, or getting out of her car.
Know what sucks? Her parents flew out here from Ireland and had just asked a lady that lived on the shore for permission to walk the shore on her property. The flipping news broadcasted this before her family and best friend knew Sinead was found- we all knew before her family, too! Shame on them.
We were just planning a search with a detective (permission granted by LE) for Monday behind the scenes and got the news Sinead was found in the water by Fish and Game. Rest in peace, Sinead. They are still looking for the dog Flossie.
It is a head scratcher for sure. Other people have questioned it, too. Maybe they thought it was broken down, but even then, usually LE finds out who the owners are and visits them at home to inquire when the car will be removed if plans haven't already been made.
Also I know some folks might...
Here's my thoughts- if this were in the 70's and 80's, I'd say yes, definitely check those. Most people didn't live up there year round, and those that did were sometimes miles away from their neighbors on the lake.
Now, more people live there year round and many go up on weekends for winter...
Agree. While it was not on any news outlet, they have been searching for her with drones, divers with sonar equipment in the water and on foot all along.
