Still Missing CA - Orson & Orrin West (3&4), California City, 21 Dec 2020

Oh, wow...thanks. I totally missed that. I think because they are unusual names.

Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #5

Yes! This happened close to me and of course hindsight is 20/20 but I can't believe I didn't think of this when I heard of BM's job. (If he ends up being guilty).

Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #3

There have been so many cases of people committing suicide and not wanting to be found. I don't understand but it is quite common.

Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #3

Not necessarily. As I stated before in the Leanne Bearden case she was found close to where they had searched several times and scent dogs had not been able to locate her either. There isn't always a suicide note either.

Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #3

This happens all the time with people with loving families. They don't do it to hurt others, but to escape their own demons.

Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #3

This is truly a puzzling case. The sheriff's statement that they don't believe it is a suicide is interesting, but I wonder if they said they suspect that it might be that the urgency to find her becomes reduced? The idea of her cancer returning and it being too much to handle is a possible...

Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #2

I believe she is referring to God and not her husband. Him is capitalized.

Found Deceased Australia - Russell Hill, 74, & Carol Clay, 72, Wonnangatta Valley, 20 March 2020

That isn't Russell's wife in the video. It says later in the video that it was a friend of Carol's.

Found Deceased OR - Owen Klinger, 18, University of Portland, 6 Oct 2019

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but if Owen went somewhere to harm himself and he didn't want to be found, going to the ATM and withdrawing money seems like a good way to throw people off their tracks and assume something else happened. Just thinking out loud here...

Me too. Feel free to PM me, if that is allowed.

Is there a Find Eugene Facebook group?

Found Deceased Canada - Eugene Kim, 38, Markham, Ont, 2 Oct 2017

I'm not sure why, but this case sounds eerily famililar to the Jeffrey Boucher case. No known history of depression or mental illness. Simply disappeared while out for a run. His body washed up on the shores of Lake Ontario about 2 months later. I think it was deemed "accidental" except that...

CA CA - Derek Seehausen, 26, USC med student, Glendale, 5 Aug 2014

I understand that, but it was odd that it was pretty much all the time (especially by his mother) that she said "he was" instead of "he is". I dunno....I just found it strange and I have seen to mentioned before as well, but this time was so much more than usual.

CA CA - Derek Seehausen, 26, USC med student, Glendale, 5 Aug 2014

I found it so odd that they believe that he is alive, but they all referred to him in the past tense.

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 June 2014 - #8

You realize that with brain matter there would also be a great deal of blood? Meaning...the drag marks were from blood but the brain matter (if this is true) has nothing to do with the drag marks and was likely inside the home.

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 June 2014 - #8

I don't want to believe that to be true because that means that Nathan would have seen his grandparents dead and he would have been the only one not killed in their sleep and that makes it harder to bear. The drag marks and DNA inside still doesn't prove that they are dead, just injured...

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 June 2014 - #8

I'm still a bit confused as to how they know that they are all dead? I get that they can extract DNA from blood, but they might all have bled, but not enough to die from? I know that chance is slim, but what evidence could they have that they are for sure dead without the bodies? This is...
