Thank you.
So I assume then you haven't heard the recordings of the calls or read the transcripts of the calls. How then can you be certain that under no circumstances would the defense want them out there?
Familial murder dates back all the way to Cain and Abel.
Infanticide has been a consistent part of the human condition since the Stone Age.
So has filicide. The Bible tells of Jephthah sacrificing his daughter, and there are innumerable high profile examples of filicide throughout history —...
I have no idea whether it was odd for Rachel specifically, but it’s not at all odd for people to walk on that trail during the 6pm hour at this time of year. It’s light out until around 9pm and it’s not like the trail is in the middle of nowhere. It runs trough a populated area, starting from...
The sheriff never said they “were not able to clearly identify her.” He said that they “firmly believe” it’s her but that the “process” gives final say on that to the medical examiner. Then he said while that hasn’t happened yet, that he “will admit that standing here at the podium, that’s the...
Seems clear from his comments at the PC that the sheriff was talking about his own office’s Facebook and/or Twitter post that requested help in finding her, initially stated that she was last seen heading to the Ma and Pa trail, and was later updated to state that her car was found near the...

And now...
Court documents show he failed to inform probation about two IRA's at Fidelity – one of which he contributed $91,000 – and left off a 2014 Fiat and 2015 Maserati, which his wife Ana drove.
She posted that the car, worth $120,000, was the 'best Valentine's present of her life' in a post online...
You’re taken aback that an academic criminologist and criminology book author would extensively study—including through interviews—an infamous serial killer and write about him?
It was well-deserved. Far too many people online post wild and speculative things about people they have never met and know nothing about without care for the consequences to those people.
All of the plate numbers are redacted in the pdf copy available at the link you posted.
The article says the plate number was left blank for one of the vehicles. In looking at the PDF, presumably that is the one that also is the only entry that has no state listed and a has VIN number listed...
Absolutely awful.
Those reports are troubling, but hopefully they are making good progress building the case that puts this perp away for good and we’ll be hearing news of an arrest soon.
