GUILTY WV - Riley Crossman, 15, Martinsburg, Morgan County, 7 May 2019 *arrest*

I mean, if get what you are saying, but a 2 minute google search of his name would have been enough for most moms I would think. What a shame. :(

I ha I have not seen a specific name mentioned by any news outlet or LE. I suspect that will be forthcoming at the 5p presser. Who has been arrested is strictly conjecture at this point. (Although, my money would be on the mim’s BF being named-my opinion)

All this. ^^^ Such an extreme lack of info coming from anywhere. It tells me that LE does not need too much help in this case. My opinion only.

Mom’s story to Dateline, as referenced in an earlier post, indicates to ME that the hours in question are after 10:30 pm (conclusion if verified video call with BF and before 7:15am (when mom claims she opened her door and RC was not in her room). I’m feeling like the lack of press conferences...

Just for clarity, a call was made from RC’s phone to her BF’s phone @5:22am. Since the call went unanswered, it is impossible to know who actually placed the call. I know that seems like a petty point, but it might be important later.

522 is a two lane rd through BS. I think the speed limit is 35 max through town prob 25 in school zone during school time. From what I remember Warm Springs does meander through town but is not very deep and not terribly fast moving. In summer I used to take my kids to the park in town and they...

A name was just given of the BF but not by LE. Are we allowed to mention the name or no? I need to go brush up on the rules. It’s been a while for me.

I am in 2 “finding Riley” FB groups as well. In one all discussion is being shot down; it is a prayers and informational page only and is public. The other group is very pro discussion and closed. In the latter, I thought there were several comments about being people weirded out by the...

Word is that the search has been called off for the rest of the day and they are sending people home. Hopefully a presser will be forthcoming. I agree, this does not seem hopeful.

I keep coming back to the part where here boyfriend would not be in school the next day. He would likely be the only one who would notice her absence as odd, but he was not there to notice. This makes me think that either someone familiar with her knew he wouldn’t be there to notice or, like you...

Y Yes. There are many state parks in the area w/cabins that are likely empty this time of year. I lived close to this area for many years.

Me too. I'm not one to say how a person "Should" react, but pushing away reporters seems to indicate that JH is no longer concerned about FINDING AJ. Maybe that means she already knows where she is? In what circumstance would speaking to media about a missing person be undesirable? It is as...

They don't need a warrant if that have permission. Lots of people will let them search since "that have nothing to hide." IMO any search w/o a warrant is the wrong decision even if you don't have anything to hide. I would not hold that decision against anyone.

Not in a million years would I ever give LE my phone number on a traffic stop. I hope they said, "heck no!"

IMO The elephant is in the room trying to steer the conversation. Does this type of thing happen often? I could certainly be wrong. I don't think I am.

I felt like he was saying he left the truck key in the mailbox and then ~in his mind as he was saying it~ considered that people would wonder if he left a "set" of keys to include a house key. So he clumsily made that leap: I left the key in the mail box, to the ignition, not the door (house)...
