Yes. I just listened to a podcast on this case. He sounds like a pro. Probably lived with family members since the date was postponed. The call was likely a hoax - it’s so common for people to be cruel. He also probably did not have a red VW. He threw out enough red herrings to keep people...

Yes … when my friend earned her MA her family and friends formed a receiving line to congratulate her. Her husband interjected to each person how he’d helped her do it when they said they were proud of her …

It was terrible and cases like this hit home…so clear to me how she and the child suffered. I was afraid my children and I could be killed when we left. My friends wanted me to tell him to *uck off when I left, but you never get that pleasure because the risk is too high.

Having been the victim of emotional and verbal abuse the scenario is pretty clear and familiar. Same trajectory as Gaby Petito. Emotional abusers are relentless and push the same buttons over and over you are trapped in circular arguments riddled with targeted cruel comments mined from...

That’s why I never understood how Letecia Stauch was able to relocate and dump poor Gannon. Surveillance failure.

12.6 miles would have been way more suspicious though

I agree. I think they already knew who drove the Elantra but hoped to get tips about the car again for context to build timeline and case.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they really had no footage of this car. They had him in their sights and knew he drove one so were fishing for tips or trying to spook him.

I think it would be interesting to know if it was common for her/them to call J. Maybe they frequently drunk dialed him so not unusual.

It’s very difficult to dispose of or hide a car unless it was obtained for just this purpose because family, neighbors, friends , co workers would note your car had changed. And a missing white Elentra would be extremely suspicious at this point.
