You claim pubs kick patrons out for "being male"... I have to take that to mean that they're kicked out for harassing women or making unwanted advances that have been complained about or they're engaging in violent or aggressive behaviour with other customers or with staffq... No establishment...

So working backwards based on 10hr battery life (if it was almost fully charged) takes us to just after 3.30am... In sleep mode it may last longer... Which fits the time line.

I believe the phone may was Oppo R17 - which would give battery life of around 10hr 38min... However some Oppo phones have battery life of up to two days.

Does Wake Up have its own CCTV? I'm wondering if the reason the key card wasn't used was because the door was open (either left by accident, another person he was sharing with-if he was sharing--opened it).. It seems he was intending to head home, and sent messages long after he'd be expected...

Police said in their press conference that the ping was at 1.30pm (which is what baffles me as that was over 12hrs since he was seen and heard from)...

He's reportes to have had an Oppo, which was bright purple (unsure if they mean the phone is purple or if it had a purple case).

Had a quick look at Telstra and Optus coverage maps- Optus allows you to refine using the brand of phone... Seems that Byron Bay has excellent coverage, the only black spots that show on the map are much further out of town, away from where the phone pinged. Assume that his phone pinged because...

The cctv from the bottle shop was quite early- around 7.30pm... Didn't he arrive at Cheeky Monkey later in the night? Not unheard of for young people to pre-load (or mainly drink before going out because it is often cheaper than solely drinking at the bar). I also thought that the phone ping...

Looking at Google maps, I've since realised that the location where the phone later pinged from was 31 and 47ish minute walk back from the accommodation (back past the bar/restaurants area he was at earlier)... And the time would suggest it was far too early for sunrise... Did he have camera...

A small amount of water can cause drowning in the "right" (wrong) circumstances eg: inability to swim/incapacity due to unconsciousness (bump to head during fall or knock to head prior to fall) or intoxication... I wonder as well if the distance to fall there is catastrophic (I guess falling on...

Croatia - Britt Lapthorne, 21, Aussie backpacker, Dubrovnik, 18 Sept 2008

Another point--her mobile phone was found in the hostel room, so did she just not take it when she went out (and who made the phonecall at 2.30am)...

I just listened to that podcast- I find it far more than a coincidence that the CCTV in both the club AND at the memorial across the street were not working/something destroyed the footage. Too convenient! This case has stayed in the back of my mind all these years because she was the same age...

GUILTY Australia - Aiia Masarwe, 21, Israeli exchange student, murdered, Melbourne, Jan 2019 *ARREST*

I'd say they may have CCTV footage of him wearing the clothing. I don't think there has been time for DNA to have been processed? If they've arrested him, they will be confident of his involvement

I wonder if there has actually been a positive identification, or if this is just 7 News running with the connection. No other news seems to be reporting it as yet. Sent from my MHA-L09 using Tapatalk

Images in the Geelong Advertiser article I read were censored with pixelation in two spots- this tells me that there were remains in both spots on the beach (and it looked to be able 5-10m or more apart). Sent from my MHA-L09 using Tapatalk

The person who assaulted Tony Abbott has stated that he did so due to his personal resentment and not due to the debate. It just so happened that he was wearing a badge at the time - something I'm sure he regrets now. That said, I think you have a valid theory which got me thinking. Perhaps not...

Even if they found remains today, it would take days if not weeks to determine cause of death and piece everything together. Sent from my MHA-L09 using Tapatalk

I don't think it's odd that the husband doesn't know what she was wearing. At first I did, but I bought some new active wear recently and my partner didn't see it for a while. My cupboard also has quite a bit of clothing and linen in it, so he wouldn't readily be able to identify the clothes via...
