    GUILTY TX - Zuzu Verk, 22, Alpine, 12 Oct 2016 #3 *Arrests*

Unless CE also had sex with Zuzu that night without her permission, drugged or undrugged.

You need a passport to get back in from Mexico. It's not like the old days.

    GUILTY TX - Zuzu Verk, 22, Alpine, 12 Oct 2016 #3 *Arrests*

Live presser on FB.... CE awaiting extradition. RF has not been informed of the positive finding that it's Zuzu. Public asked to stay away from grave site because it is on private property. Not disclosing much except that RF and CE have been uncooperative and misleading.

They'd know it well. Also, the new ETP pipeline runs near Sunny Glen. As mentioned it's on the very western edge of town.

He's been arrested before - in 2012 for possession of marijuana. He needs to come clean. https://www.facebook.com/brewstercountytx/posts/512733288751088

Very good catch. The blue circle to the left is Zuzu's apartment; to the right, RF's. The blue area to the right is along US 90 as it heads east toward Marathon. On that same (south) side of US 90 back over to the left is the sister's house. The blue areas near the top are along TX 118 as it...

Yes, there's a Hovey Road off US 67, north of Alpine. I stopped once near that road because I had car trouble, and it's been on my mind because of that. There are a lot of places to hide something if that's what's happened. It would take a random person stumbling onto it (like a property...

I was in Fort Davis (near Alpine) through October 1st. I took pictures of vultures (turkey buzzards) circling their "catch" on the Scenic Loop. I went back out on October 22nd and paid careful attention to whether or not there were buzzards cleaning the road kill - and didn't notice a single...

There's this interesting link to sign up for notifications when Google Earth and Maps images change: https://followyourworld.appspot.com/ As to how RF fares as a suspect: this is a true test of a community and its citizens. The best way to handle it is as normally as possible. Any attack on...

If notes are handwritten and then transcribed, a "4" can look like a "1" - or 4 am. Or the transcriber could have fat-fingered 3 am into 4 am.

I still want to hear from Pumpco and ETP that they are investigating the more than 100 miles of dig for the pipeline. That pipeline crosses 118 not far from the hospital and extends down to Presidio.

Had a sickening thought middle of the night. RF was a "liker" of a local hunting group - for wild non-native sheep (aoudad IIRC). Anyone who's a hunter knows how to really dispose of a body. :(

Meanwhile, CBP did find the body of an immigrant on Tuesday near Redford, story here: http://bigbendnow.com/2016/10/body-of-guatemalan-immigrant-found-near-redford/ I find it interesting that Liz Rogers has come back out of retirement. She didn't do it for this case; I heard an ad for her...

Can someone local check this? I didn't happen by there when I was out there (left yesterday). It's definitely worth LE's time to question JC's (the sister, there are two JCs) husband and company about ongoing construction work. I'm wondering where that company disposes of its own waste, too...

High-population counties usually have standing (year-round) grand juries. Small-population counties convene them as needed. It is unusual for one to be convened this quickly, but time is of the essence in preserving evidence. I also think that all the publicity will put pressure on the...

No. Too risky. The pictures posted of cameras were of the cameras that point toward the southbound side of the road - that is, as you drive past a checkpoint going toward Mexico. Even at night the checkpoints are extremely well lit. Then coming back north, you have to go through a checkpoint...

Alpine and Fort Davis are my peaceful havens. It's hard to take in. The best areas to search will be the sandiest areas, where it's easiest to dig and recover the ground. My question is, why borrow the truck? It involved more people, and isn't really needed to go off-road. Covered truck bed?

My guess would be that he took Zuzu out of his apartment between 11 pm and 1 am, then went back, and made a lot of noise to be sure to wake the neighbors who would see him leave alone at 4 am. My deep concern is that Zuzu may have been unconscious but alive when RF took her from his...
