    My husband is a prosecuting attorney. He says that if someone in in jail and has information on a violent crime, but wasn't a direct participant, the prosecutors will always try to secure a plea deal, usually a very generous one, for their cooperation.

    I'm from Washington D.C. Completely accent neutral. Husband is from far south Georgia but has zero hint of an accent. It's always fun when people try to pin where we're from, haha.

    Failure to report a crime is only a misdemeanor in most states. Accessory after the fact is a felony in most states but they're generally not given long sentences.

    Technically speaking, this would not be pedophilia. Pedophilia involves a child who has not reached puberty. Still very sick, but not pedophilia. This would fall under Hebephilia. Sorry, my husband is a prosecuting attorney so I hear legal talk all the time.

    Currently live in Georgia. I'm from Virginia and have lived in Kentucky as well. None of them require fingerprinting.

    First time posting, but here in Georgia there is no fingerprinting to get a Drivers License or any other type of identification.
