If she was just going to "up and go without a trace" it does not make sense why she would have asked RS to write down the social security number. Did she not have access to her own information?
I can understand the family not wanting to say anything, but RS has made out that TS was very well...
In the body cam video they stated that they wanted a blood sample to "protect" the truck driver. The fact is that this was a police chase that ended in a fatality, should the police that gave chase not have to give a blood sample too to "protect" them. Their actions do not suggest that they...
I have a few questions
1. Did the police officers who gave chase have to give blood?
2. To the arresting officer - if the truck driver was a member of your family, your brother/son or even a member of extended family how would you feel?
That would lead me to think about their reason for the sudden visit which apparently was very out of character for TM. I wonder was he trying to protect himself (she said beneficial but not to whom it was beneficial), in the sense of his reputation, his standing in the community.
Something...
It's an odd statement "he knew it was beneficial".
Also in that program, he said "I was not going to interfere in Molly's marriage, Molly's marriage is Molly's marriage" then at the end he says something to the effect of he would do anything to protect his daughter.
Just a note on that recording, when JC raised his voice did MM make any attempt to get herself or the children out of that situation. NO, in fact, she was about to make pancakes to me that suggests that she that she had no fear of him what-so-ever.
Having seen the photos of MM and TM in the police station and outside the house that night, if they cleaned themselves up so that the emergency services that night could clearly see that neither of them needed medical treatment. If that was not clear could emergency services have insisted on...
Aside from the fact that a brick would do a lot of damage to the beautiful furniture, did'nt she say that the children were never allowed into the bedroom, why would a children's art project be there.
Just a small detail, in her handwritten statement MM says JC is choking her with his arm when her father entered the room, but TM says that JC was choking her with his hands, he hit him twice then JC put his arm around her neck.

The fact that the Martens family wasted no time in trying to obtain JC's belongings from his office, which included the children's passports. Is it unusual to keep such documents in your workplace? How did she know that the passports were not at home? I believe JC had told MM of his intentions...
I agree with you 100%.
For me it stopped being self-defence/defence of another when TM closed the bedroom door. If TM saw his daughter being strangled, and he was in fear of Jason why had he just made it more difficult for them both to escape. The door being closed was to stop someone from...
