The male in the sketch looks very handsome. I wonder if any other females at the time recall encountering him. Again, I will need to do some further research on this case.
How warm is Oklahoma at that time of year? body parts take longer to de-compose in the winter (cooler weather) and less time to decompose in the summer (warmer weather).
Could this have been a failed robbery? What equipment was in the store and to what value? This information is very brief, so I will need to do some more research in to this case.

After reading comments by Damien's family and other online sources and re-evaluating the documentary. I now strongly believe that he is buried in a wooded area on the island. I won't say where it is because his family may want to keep it annonymous so that they can one day recover his body but...
After years of sleuthing this case and being ambivalent about all of the possible outcomes, not really developing a theory, I've finally come to the theory that Damien's remains are on the island and that the copse and the flat complex being built at the time are likely to provide answers.
I...
A mere observation, Damien Nettles, also missing from a coastal resort in the 1990s was multi national, born in Singapore, spent formative years in America and then moved to the UK. It's amazing how cases often have similarities.
What makes you believe he is capable of it, just out of interest?
As a side note, I read that SJ has links to Nonnington, Kent, where murdered Megan Russell went to school (Chillenden Murders, 1996). I am not saying the two cases are related but I find it a startling coincidence.
The Russell Murders happened just as CCTV and DNA was on the cusp of becoming mainstream. Sure, it was a lonely country lane but would a perpetrator get away with it nowadays? I don't know. You do raise a good point though, if it wasn't Stone or Bellfield, what other crimes could the killer have...
I completely agree. If I recall correctly, the determining factor in the conviction was Damien Daley's statement of a cell block confession, they thought that with Daley being on the inside, there is no way he would have known the details without hearing them from Stone, but it was argued he got...
There was a witness who saw a man driving in a Ford car that helped to produce the E-fit and another witness who saw someone concealing something in a bush on a nearby lane, shortly after the attack.
In my opinion, there is not enough evidence or motive for Michael Stone's conviction to be...
The theory about the 'plain clothed policeman' interests me. Unlike some other cases, I cannot see any reason for the police to 'close ranks' and cover up. For me, it is plausible that Billie-Jo's killer could have hid in the house and posed as a policeman. It was a busy street, it's entirely...
I have been reading some more on this case. One of the things that interests me is Sion's natural daughter claiming the gate was closed when they left for the DIY store and that it was open when they returned. It is said that she said this to the neighbour who was at the scene of Billie-Jo's...
I can't stop thinking about the red van on Baring Road and how it was not traced. I wonder what sort of number plate recognition, if any, operated on the chain ferry back then.
I keep thinking about Grantham Court Flats. It is rumoured that a POI was working on construction of them at the time. I just think that would be a good way to dispose of a body for good.
