Agree...even if you consider 75 it’s only about 30-40 min north to Huntsville. Old 75 is still open today. Quite a different view than I45 today.

I know that it does not get us any closer to finding the identity of our girl but does anyone here have an opinion on the Arrest of Thomas Darnell in the cold case of Laura Purchase? She was also strangled and assaulted.....not far down I45 around the same timeframe.

I did read that he spent some time at the Ramsey unit which is in rosharon. only 30 min from sugar land. This was later in his incarceration though. I would be curious if the sister is alive and or is familiar with the WCJD case.

I haven't seen anything with more detail on the bite other than they were able to get an imprint. so my guess is it was a mark rather than an actual bite out of the flesh. I could be wrong though.

Had not read much about c cole until you mentioned. Interesting that he was back in Dallas Texas around November 1980 and had strangled several there. Puts him in the right area. Seems he had a habit of taking steps to conceal / hide his victims after. But I guess anything is possible.
