I for one, am not suprised by this outcome at all. I thought Baez was well prepared yesterday and made his arguements very clear. I think the Judge Strickland is no fool and can clearly see what is going on here and made a very wise decision today. I felt comfortable yesterday that this is how...
They didn't hand over everything. The first thing the prosecution gave him, days after it had been requested, were these psychic "sightings" and "tips" to police where they should look for Caylee.
If I remember correctly, the prosecution didn't want Baez to have this info at first as it was...
Maybe I'm wrong here, but IIRC, the prosecution asked for the hearing in regards to a gag order and then Baez filed his motions along with the motion of the prosecution.
Baez made comment that the prosecution waited to give him anything until the grand jury indictment. I was glad that Judge...
Repectfully snipped:
I think that Baez was referring to the sighting reports. IIRC he bascially said he paid $1400 for psychic reports and people calling in tips to the Sheriffs office on where they should look. He did not receive the actual "sighting" tips which is what he wanted.
I felt that while Baez might have a different type of style...he is still professional and is getting the results he wants. I thought that he was well prepared for this hearing.
And I can't comment on CA as I did not see that part.
"Baez was free to release whatever he wanted"
But according to prosecution, they are saying he wasn't which is why they want a gag order. I personally feel that Baez does have a good case and has been doing his best to defend his client in the media eye without revealing his cards so to speak.
I think JB has a different "style" if you will, but I think he is very professional and he certainly did his homework. And I agree that he is getting the results he is going for. I think he called out the prosecution today....and I'm sure that Strickland, while he can't say it in court, sees...
My three favorite parts....
Baez citing the words of Judge Strickland "I'm going to err on the side of the 1st ammendment everytime", Judge Stickland says..."Did I say that"...laughter heard in courtroom, JB says "yes you did".
Baez stating...I did not release reports of cholorform in the...
I do not for one minute think that George wants the searchers to find Caylee because that means she would be dead. I can't even imagine a grandparent "wanting" to learn their grandchild has died. I'm sure that is NOT what he is praying for today. JMO
I think you bring up an excellent point here. But my thinking on that point is that I don't believe that Casey would have had enough time to kill Caylee, dispose of her body, get herself cleaned up and composed, and then to Tony's and out to Block Busters. I mean....it just doesn't seem like...
If that were the case, I don't think Casey would have realized that at that point Caylee was actually kidnapped according to her original story. In her original story, IIRC, she said she went to pick Caylee up around 6pm. She went to block busters only a couple hours later.
I have seen that video before. Here is what I see....I see Casey smiling, I hear Caylee laughing. I hear Casey kissing Caylee. At the end...I just think she was wiping the spit off of her face from blowing on Caylee's belly.
But they don't believe Casey killed Caylee...so since that is the case, I'm sure they are distraught over this whole thing. Just posting form what their perspective might be. Although, I do agree that they are relieved that the protestors are no longer outside of their home.
Yes, I have. I am very worried about this little boy. I wish that the media would have just released the fact that he is missing but not the "who has him" part. I'm afraid that if these drug dealers will harm him if they know that the police are on to them.
