Are we assuming that CA or someone bought a replacement? In that case, I would think that with or without a receipt, LE could:
A: Obtain access to the bank/credit card records that shows purchase history and locations
B: With or without a credit/debit purchase, track sales of this bedding...
Judge: "That's the defense's theory."
Yep. That sounds about right. File right next to "Zanni and her sister knocked my client down, kidnapped the baby, and gave KC a 30 day script to follow." All part of the "reasonable explanation that will come out at trial." :waitasec:
I tuned in a little late, but when asked why officials didn't spot the bag in August when he first reported it, did he say it was under water? How did he see it? Did he address that?
He said police were rather rude to him at that time.
Who would survive that Florida heat in the trunk of a car for more than a few minutes? Even if the windows were partially opened. That's why that theory is weak IMO.
Just breaks my heart to think of Caylee being in the middle of that heated fight. Casey storms out of the house in anger with her, maybe threatening that the A's will never see either of them again. Poor Caylee was probably crying her eyes out, pleading to go back home. It's unspeakable to think...

Wow. I hadn't seen that interview with George and Michelle. Cindy is spent.
Cindy also appeared on GVS earlier in July looking and acting a little out of it claiming she'd had "no sleep," but still had enough in her to be extraordinarily rude, putting up roadblocks about Casey, evading direct...
Hi JBean,
For better or worse, my post started that conversation on this thread - apologies for the sidetrack. The other few threads on this topic that came up in the Search results appear to be locked. Will you please tell me how to find the "parking lot"? (Still a newbie!:blushing:)
AT THAT TIME, we DO know that Casey was stating that Jesse was the father. Jesse was there too, right? That's why GA cutting the cord seems odd, (unless Jesse didn't want to do it.)
Speaking of cutting the cord, I know this was addressed briefly in another thread (which is now locked, so I hope it's okay to bring it up here), but IMO it's rather odd that GA was the one to cut the cord when Caylee was born. JG, the presumed father was there, wasn't he? Casey didn't want...
I agree about the duct tape.
Question (but a very difficult thing to think about):
IF chloroform or a heavy medication was given to Caylee,
and then IF the tape was placed on her while she was still alive,
would Caylee's exhalation/breathing leave any evidence of the chloroform or meds...
Wow. That's one I hadn't thought of. Would Cindy or George fall on their sword so their daughter could walk? Would they say so, even if true or not. Seems doubtful they'd be all that concerned about perjury.
The A's behavior from the get-go has been baffling. Until someone got through and...
But that also presumes that whomever put the tape on did not wear gloves so they wouldn't leave prints behind.
IMO, if it turns out to be AH's roll of duct tape, with only her prints on it, it doesn't mean someone else wasn't responsible.
The prints on the duct tape might not belong to Casey at all. She was so deceitful and sneaky - makes me think she would have worn gloves to cover her tracks. Maybe that's why LE needed the family's prints. Hopefully, the other evidence found in the bag tells the story.
