GUILTY CA - Yolanda Holtrey, 59, and Michelle Luke, 49, slain, Westminster, 1 Jan 2017 *Arrest*

Yes it is a defense tactic to try and impeach an officer. It has become one of the standard filings for defense. Justice can sure seem to be hard to come by.

    NV NV - Wellington, WhtMale 574UMNV, 35-50, off Sand Canyon Road, Mar'92 - #1

Yes it was. They had to drive past my house to get to most of their hangouts and we used the same post office. So much evil.

Lake and Ng's cabin was in Calaveras County off hwy 26 near Wilseyville not in Lake Tahoe. It was purchased by his wife or wife's family. People living in that area would take hwy 88 to Tahoe. 88 also will take you to NV near Minden. I lived in the area when Lake and Ng's did.

JLM: Morgan Harrington/Fairfax Rape Victim - *Forensic Link* to MH #2

I have previously worked in a police dept. in a university. The universities did not appear to hide those sexual assaults. The fact that there was a file says it was not hidden. At least in the Liberty University case it was stated that the victim did not want to press charges. When a sexual...

Legal Questions for Our VERIFIED Lawyers #1

When JBP brings up the Kronk motion at the 12/20/10 hearing JB indicates that he had a deadline of 12/31. The way he stated this it seems he was saying he had until 12/31 to file on the Kronk motion. JBP responds by stating that he thought that it must be heard by 12/31 and JA agreed that was...

GUILTY CA - Chevelle 'Chevy' Wheeler, 16, Stockton, 16 Oct 1985

I would hope that Chevy could be found. However, Shermantine bragged he could make a body disappear. There was talk about a quarry and a sludge pit. It was speculated he could have placed a body there and the body would not be found. Also Valley Springs where his parents place was is filled...

    Found Deceased MI - Venus Stewart, 32, Colon, 28 April 2010 - # 8 *D. Stewart guilty*

Just a thought about recorded police lines. The agencies I am familiar with not all lines are recorded. It could be on a recorded line - especially if the officer making the call felt it was important to have a recording. Whenever, one of our officers wanted to ensure a recording - they were...

    Workplace Violence-Your experience and thoughts

This is in answer to question about statistics. No just because it is workplace violence does not mean it does not count in the statistics. The determining factor for if it has to be reported is location. If it happened on campus - or in a university facility or on public access ways...

PA PA - Betsy Aardsma, 22, murdered in Pattee Library, Penn State, 29 Nov 1969

A profiler looking at this case would be great. Because it might just give direction. There are parts of this case that right now can be read multiple ways. The only thought I had about the one stab wound was this - if once he did the one stab - she fell knocking over the books and that...

PA PA - Betsy Aardsma, 22, murdered in Pattee Library, Penn State, 29 Nov 1969

I have always felt that this murder was motivated by uncontrollable desires/emotions of the perp. I think the scenario described by you milopedes is probably what happened. The only part that really throws me is this - if it was sexual why stab her? I don't know if I will explain this really...

PA PA - Betsy Aardsma, 22, murdered in Pattee Library, Penn State, 29 Nov 1969

Thanks for the description of the area and about the knife and hunting. I had gone back and the article I read said about 4 inch knife. Which would not preclude a pocket knife. The width of the knife was a question I had - so thanks for answering that. I agree with your statement about...

PA PA - Betsy Aardsma, 22, murdered in Pattee Library, Penn State, 29 Nov 1969

I need to go back and check - but was a determination made as to the type of weapon? A pocket knife opposed to a hunting knife makes a difference. I feel it was planned - just not sure how much planning went into the crime. The perp had to be familiar with the library and how to get in and...

PA PA - Betsy Aardsma, 22, murdered in Pattee Library, Penn State, 29 Nov 1969

My question - how much planning? Did this perp come to the library with this intention? He had a knife. Did he plan in 10 minutes - 30 minutes - days? There seems to be such an element of luck in this case. Yes - some things helped lower the risk. The holiday time - that part of the...

Littlehorn Great work. I'm so glad you are getting tips. And that other papers are picking it up. The more exposure the better. I sure hope that Betsy's case is resolved. I think you are right - if there is a chance -seems now could be the time.
