I'm just curious, escaping out of the classroom or the school? My ASD child attends an inclusive special education school and all doors leading outside are locked during school hours for security and to prevent "runners" from leaving he building.
My son has autism, as well. Researching different GPS devices, I've found that many parents of ASD children like ww.projectlifesaver.org and https://www.iloctech.com/triloc/purchase.
This just breaks my heart. My son has autism and is a wanderer. Absolutely the school dropped the ball! Why was he alone to run outside the building and why wasn't an adult chasing him? I would be livid if I were his mother.
Bolded by me. This really worries me. Many autistic individuals are...
It'll be interesting to hear, if anything, what his co-workers at Starbucks have to say. His behavior, his excuse for being early, anything said about Willow during that time.
This is what I'm thinking too. Maybe she was afraid of a DCS investigation if she admitted to not checking on her children for such a long time? It would also explain why she said Willow was last seen in her purple shirt, but was later found at home.
I'm so sorry this happened to you, Katelyn. May you rest in peace. :candle:
Indiana employs the death penalty - I pray these scumbags see the fullest extent of justice.
"She hasn't had any outgoing phone calls or text messages since 3:02 a.m. when she went missing," said Katelyn's mother Laura Wolfe.

So we're talking about a 20 minute window when Bob can disappear. It would seem that if he was taken, it would have to be someone really familiar with that timetable to take him when he's home alone.
I'm currently reading Someone Cry For The Children, and I must admit, this case gives me the absolute chills. I feel the book tries hard to push Hart as the sole suspect, and there is damning evidence to point to him. However, I personally feel that Hart didn't act alone (if guilty), I think he...
IMO, I have doubts that the FBI would tell this to Charity. Maybe that is Charity's own interpretation on things or the FB member who is telling it secondhand is embellishing.
Nevertheless, it is very telling (if true) about the people involved.
So, apparently Charity told another FB member the whereabouts of her other children. Also, she's supposedly back in Indiana.
