Seriously? This from a man who said, on the stand: "Casey is the last person I saw with Caylee. One plus One equals two, no matter how you spin it".
Stunned. The delusions of the Anthony family will continue, it seems.
I am simply stunned by this. I cannot believe this jury acquitted Casey. I will not buy any book or watch any interview that anyone on the defense team (including Casey herself) puts out there. I don't want ANYONE involved in this case to make money off of this travesty of justice.
This was the most annoying series of interviews associated with this case. Tracy's "nervous" (or whatever) laughter throughout the interview, coupled with her rather snarky comments (when she had been something of a 'trusted' member of the household) made me kind of sick. It sounded like all...
Ha ha ha! Just when I think I'm going to need to poke my eye with a ballpoint pen to distract myself from the pain of listening to this closing statement, someone posts something that makes me giggle! Thanks, all! Being on WS is almost as good as hanging out with all of you in person!
Yeah. And after they had given her multiple opportunities to change her story. THAT is the problem with this theory and this closing statement. She could have told the "truth" at any time and the detectives let her know that they would help her "explain" it in court.
I actually think JB is a horrible orator, imo. It's like he's working this all out on the fly. BUT, I do think that his tone (post-gigglegate) is much easier to take than his cookie-monster-voice dramatism of earlier today.
I feel like JB is going for a filibuster, like legislators do. He thinks if he talks long enough the jury, prosecution, and the media are going to give up and go home just to get him to shut up.
I think JB listened to Bill S. during his lunch break. He's now on the "How Where Why" issue, which Bill S. said he SHOULD do during one of the morning analyses.
JB thought Cindy was truthful up until the time the prosecution proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she, in fact, was NOT truthful. Now she's a prolific liar and shouldn't be trusted.
Wait. I thought the chloroform photo was uploaded in April? And the searches were done in March? So how could Casey be 'curious' about a posting that hadn't happened yet? Someone let me know if the MySpace posting was pre-March?
Yes, yes yes! Can't have it both ways, JB (to paraphrase JA in his closing). I've always wondered at the logic of telling a jury that a former law enforcement officer DIDN'T THINK of calling 911 to possibly revive a drowned child. Makes. No. Sense.
