I read in the manual posted earlier that they are filtered according to seriousness of crime. So I don't think he's going to be sharing space with car thieves or dope pushers somehow.

If I found a 5 star hotel with as many services as this jail offers I'll book in in a heart-beat. Outrageous!!! :jail:

So many women coming forward now. Even those who have been unassisted when asking for help. I hope this case jolts a few people into taking claims of threats really seriously instead of sending people away to cope alone. <modsnip> Read more...

Why does it take a case like Jill's to bring perpetrators in? Surely the police have undertaken the rape kit procedure on this poor girl. Sadly, I think they may have been unable to extract DNA otherwise I'm sure they would have their man by now. I hope, as a result of bringing in AEB, that...

I am all up for this because I think we can make a change. Perhaps for crimes in general. So many criminals get out early. Also, I feel strongly that they should be made to pay their way in jail by working in there, but that's another topic for another day. That's it for me tonight. I will do...

Surely the best way to stop them re-offending is to simply lock them up for good with hard labour to pay their on way? I despise the idea of using public funding to try and make good people out of these criminals. :moo:

I was thinking to do it online. I've been to http://lobbyists.pmc.gov.au/needs_register.cfm and I think we need a doctor or lawyer to initiate this. If it's online then it's going to be so much easier to get people to sign it.

Nothing will change if someone doesn't make it change. I will look at how to lobby govt online if anyone is interested? Or is someone here an old hat at that?

:waitasec: I cannot understand why there has only been one arrest and the police are saying there is only one suspect given the neighbours reports: "... Coburg neighbour Dale Trotter said he saw at least two cars pull up outside the Coburg house at about 2am on Saturday morning." "... Another...

The Caucasian man looks like the same guy in the 3 sketches I posted earlier in relation to 3 other assaults on women in their 20's. These guys have to be brought in before they do more harm. I'm fairly confidant they will be caught soon and this case will be blown open. MOO :moo:
