Does the fact that the Patz family declared Etan legally dead, in order to sue Ramos, evidence that the boy is dead? Curious about that

What gives with this case? I thought that Hernandez was due in court in the middle of February. No news that I can see.

    Deceased/Not Found NY - Etan Patz, 6, New York, 25 May 1979 #2 *P. Hernandez guilty*

Hernandez pleaded 'not guilty' and one of the news sites said that in his confession he said that Etan was breathing when he dumped the body. It's part of the headline to make one think that he gave that info today...

I'm surprised yet I'm not. I expected to see him cowering but he appears so smug and gross. Almost like he shedded a few tears when he confessed but now he expects big daddy to get him out of it. Creepy!!!

amazing. The arrest for the murder of Autumn Pasquale are teens too. Didn't the profile kind of point to a seasoned predator? Arrests in both cases about a day apart. When I read about the NJ case I had the strange feeling that it was the same killer as in the Jessica case. Of course it...

wasn't the back pack in a paper bag as if this person was organized and taunting the police? I saw the video on youtube and the bag seemed to be large and neatly folded at the top. This along with the dismemberment shows a seasoned criminal to me. I hope that this doesn't become like...

Regarding Jessica the newspapers keep saying that 'she was last seen' walking to meet her school friends. Who saw her if this is true? As far as what I read her mom said that she walked the 3 blocks to meet her friends not that she actually did that day. Who said that they 'saw' her?

yes indeed and though they were going to check former students of the college there they failed to check him and when they were taking dna samples after Marine Hedge's murder they failed to get his though he lived about 5 doors from her.

the link in msg # 703 is just the same old same old stuff that Hernandez's lawyer spread around. While it may or may not be true what is true is that Hernandez did not come forth and confess. He was turned in by his brother in law.

    Deceased/Not Found NY - Etan Patz, 6, New York, 25 May 1979 #2 *P. Hernandez guilty*

even if Hernandez has mental problems the only reason that we know about it is because of his lawyer who brought it up trying to make like Hernandez confessed due to his 'mental problems' when we know that his brother in law turned him in. He hardly came forth and 'confessed'. How does his...

they do have corrroborative evidence being his confession and where he was in juxtaposition to where he was when the boy vanished. Ur indeed right that the court may demand more evidence. Regarding his mental condition being that I'm not privy to his medical records I have no idea...

    Deceased/Not Found NY - Etan Patz, 6, New York, 25 May 1979 #2 *P. Hernandez guilty*

ur right. His 'mental illness' was not invented by his lawyer, Fishbein, who is noted for trying to get people off due to mental illness. It was simply used by him to shed doubt on Hernandez's confession. If he can't win the case by saying that Hernandez is mentally ill and his confession is not...

Funny. His lawyer set the seed of his 'mental illness' and now he's spoken about as 'that mentally ill man', the mentally ill man who ran away from NYC, fathered 3 children and led a life that Etan Patz, whom I believe he killed, never got the chance to live...
