Lol..."tempt?" I have info. It is the same info that many of you have. I didn't think I was "flaunting" anything.
I'm just confirming that the RSO mentioned here was also mentioned by family, and I, too, am interested in watching that FB activity play out. The family member we spoke to is VERY...
From what I have heard, the bodies were found with the clothing that the girls were last seen wearing. This is why, I suspect, that Heather Collins confirmed on FB that the bodies were the girls.
I'm not familiar with 7 Bridges. I've heard of it before, but that's it.
As for the man who...
Many local farmers also give hunters access to their land, and hunting is forbidden in many public areas, so I can't speculate. The scanner thread seems to point to a specific area, but near Readlyn is what I've heard as well.
I agree.
I think you are referring to when Tammy said they...
It's the next county north. From here (3 mins from W'loo), I could be in Bremer in minutes. I had not realized that LE did not release where the bodies were found. I heard from family members who were at the press conference. Obviously awaiting ID, but they called the family to the station...
We are in Blackhawk County, Bremer Co is the next county north. The bodies were found about a half-hour's drive from Meyers Lake, from what I've been told.
Yes...KMTV's report is incorrect. That is a station in Omaha, NE, I believe. I suppose, relative to Omaha, Meyers Lake is close to where they were found, but I personally have heard from family that the bodies were found by hunters in Bremer County, north of here.
I live across the road from...
Yes...I've just learned that was friend of mine as well.
Some family members have reported to me that the bodies were found in Bremer Co...just north of here, by Readlyn from what I understand.
I can't confirm that...I just heard it from a friend. I believe he may be mistaken...the crime lab is in Ankeny.
I have no idea where the bodies were found.
Phone going crazy, had the same hard time hearing it on cpu as everyone else. Got it on the tv as quick as I could.
Nothing near the lake as far as I can tell, no clue where the bodies were found. The lake is well within city limits, there is no hunting there, there is no LE activity visible...
Honestly been dreading hunting season for just this reason. Sigh.
Also, speculating with a friend today as there was a death in downtown W'loo in a public area...not sure if related, but a sad day here.
SBM...Actually, the ramps on and off the eastbound lanes were closed, but as far as I can remember, the westbound ramps never closed. I use them daily.
This info and artzy's info, are very intriguing. Thank you both so much!!
Children can still climb up under it somewhat, but you can no...
I am REALLY behind in these threads. I have been trying to catch up, but I have been incredibly busy since school began. I thought that having the house to myself during the days would open up my schedule. HA! Hahahahahaha! Ha. Ahhhhh. Agh. Ack. Sigh. Ugh.
Anyway, I want to express my deepest...
Thank you, and there is no cause for concern. I've been here all along, just not online nearly as much.
From the dock, I would say faces are probably not recognizable to most. I'm told I have excellent eyesight. I would recognize someone I knew, but I would probably not be able to accurately...
