I'm so sad about this. I think we all read so much of what Shadow had to say on social media that she seemed more real and alive than many missing persons. I can't get over these two individuals (allegedly) feeling they had the right to take her life, to take her from her family. Poor London...
I really hate to see this thread languishing. Can't help but feel like this would have been better off in the hands of the police than the military.

I think the ex, the women who accused her, the mother of the one who was particularly vocal, the guy who made that thinly veiled threat on FB...they'll all be keeping a low profile. Bit awkward when someone you're locked in a dispute with suddenly goes missing. The police have got to be...
Here it sadly seems to happen a lot. We have a lot of missing persons who turn up as suicides a few days later. People go bush and kill themselves. I can understand doing it that way if you're going to do it. I wouldn't want family or friends to find me. Sometimes I think they want to not...
I'd be interested to know where her criminal charges were at in the process and what outcome was likely. If I was facing all of those charges I would feel like the world was about to come crashing down on me. I can see how the stress might make someone suicidal.
Just my guess, but my...
It's just my hunch, but I think the US military will keep any information locked down in any event. Secrecy is part of their way of operating.

I saw a post on there that said it was the family member's personal page that had been banned temporarily, but not actually because anyone reported it, but something about sharing things (no doubt missing person flyer) to too many other pages, which might flag it as a spammer account.
I don't...
I just saw that the wife of a Fort Campbell soldier, Shena Hebert, has also gone missing. She had driven to Nashville and that's where they last had contact from her.

I can't see that it's much of a security risk. Certainly the Australian military and many other militaries the world over cope well enough without it. But just my opinion. We do tend to regard the military as just a job here more than the US do, though.
As for bringing the military into...
I find it really odd that the military in the US charges people for adultery. Seems to me strange in this day and age that there's not a separation there between private life and job.

I've been thinking about the possibility of self-harm.
Certainly Shadow had a lot going on in her life and it's easy to see how she could be overwhelmed.
She does seem like a bit of what some people might call an "over sharer" on social media. She's laid the saga with her ex out bare over...
The FB page censoring has a few possible explanations. One is that Shadow has chosen to disappear, and her family knows if. I'd love it if this is true, because then she's safe. But I don't think they'd be going to all these lengths searching for her. They'd probably want a low profile...

Shadow had a court appearance last week. Failed to attend.

Just thinking about Shadow's photography interest. I wonder if she has her camera gear with her. I don't think she'd leave it behind if she was going missing. Was her location rural? Is it possible she's pulled over somewhere to take a picture and gotten lost or had an accident?
Also...
The most worrying thing about all this as people have said is the sudden absence of social media and the fact that she's not using her bank accounts. If she's in hiding the latter means that she's either put some money aside ahead of time or someone is helping her. But she seems close to her...
Hey, Treelights...according to that Google Acct page she made a post on the morning of 3 Sept. Didn't she go missing 2 Sept? She mentions stepping in dog pee - house sitting? Unless it's changed the date to the following date for me because I'm in Australia. Can someone in the Northern...
In relation to the possibility of a car accident, she does mention playing Pokemon Go and Ingress while driving. But she's most likely to be doing that in a built up area, where her car would have been found if she had an accident.
