Do you remember where the circus set up?
Do you remember anything about an alleged altercation leading to a death on someone's front lawn on Kent St some years before Gerard Ross disappeared?

Circuses over the years, have either set up where they do now cnr Patterson Rd & Flinders Ln. It was just a big oval opposite a hall, before the flashiness of today. Or, I think around that time, they were often setting up on Dixon Road. I wonder if council keeps records on who set up where? I saw a photo and news link to a ringleader/master wrt GR, and I wonder if it was Damien Syred. I think it was (didnt pay too much attention at the time). Damien is from the area originally (well Bunbury I think from memory), so it was probably really close to home for him, hence his pleas for info.
I dont remember a death on Kent St lawn. I remember something along those lines in Lewington street (or possibly Jecks now I look at the map). I didnt own that house at the time. I wish Id asked the guy Id bought the house off all the goings on though. Hed probably be deceased by now Id say.
Altercations on lawns are not an unusual going on there [emoji51][emoji50].....it attracted nightclub overflow and some revolting people. Very sad, as when I first moved to the area in 1987 it was like a sleepy holiday town. In fact I was down there in the 70s on holiday a lot too. Another thing I always heard over the years as how the area was a rehoming ground for pedos. Many strange incidents have happened in the toilets along there too. One recently (well probably before I left) was a bloke hiding in the females when a little girl went in...shudder.
Ill try think harder about the Kent st altercation....but I wonder if it was the adjacent streets incident that got morphed into happening in Kent?
