You don't need stitches for scrapes. IMO

Well there clearly is a dark spot on top of Zimmerman's head so that could be a scrape of some sort. It's impossible to say because the video is so grainy.

Version 6.0 told to the dad.

According to Tracy Martin, the Sanford, Fla., detective recounted this sequence of events: Trayvon Martin walked up to Zimmerman’s vehicle and asked why he was following him. Zimmerman denied following the youth and rolled up the car window. Minutes after Trayvon walked away, Zimmerman got out of his vehicle.

Then came the second encounter, according to Tracy Martin’s recollection of the detective’s account. Trayvon Martin appeared from behind a building in Zimmerman’s gated community, approached him and demanded, “What’s your problem, homie?”

My husband had a broken nose and I don't remember it bleeding at all.

I honestly do not think his nose was broken? I could be wrong, but I was elbowed in the school lunch line when I was young (accident) and my nose bled like crazyyyyyy... it was not broken though?

We know Zimmerman's nose was bleeding (maybe?) because LE said it was on their official reports. But no blood on Zimmerman's shirt?

Source: Sanford police chief, state attorney made Zimmerman 'no charge' call in person

http://www.thegrio.com/specials/tra...mmerman-no-charge-call-in-person.php#46882946

A source with knowledge of the investigation into the shooting of Trayvon Martin tells theGrio that it was then Sanford police chief Bill Lee, along with Capt. Robert O'Connor, the investigations supervisor, who made the decision to release George Zimmerman on the night of February 26th, after consulting with State Attorney Norman Wolfinger -- in person.

Wolfinger's presence at the scene or at the police department in the night of a shooting would be unusual, according to the source. On a typical case, police contact the state attorney's office and speak with an on duty assistant state attorney; they either discuss the matter by phone or the on duty assistant state attorney comes to the crime scene - but rarely the state attorney him or herself.
------

What was not stated was that, on the night of the killing, Wolfinger may have traveled to either the scene of the shooting or the police station to discuss the case with Lee and O'Connor, who was briefly named interim "co-chief" with the current acting chief, Darren Scott, when Lee announced he would step down temporarily last week.

In this case, the source says investigators spoke to the on-duty assistant state attorney -- an unidentified woman -- who did not come to the scene, but that Wolfinger did.

And according to the source, after a conversation between Lee, O'Connor and Wolfinger, the decision was made to "cut Zimmerman loose."

Trayvon now walked up to Zimmerman's truck?? Okay, it's not even funny anymore! For-really-doe! I think we'll get an arrest before the April Grand Jury if it keeps going this way!

WOW!

Yeah, calls were made to daddy! Daddy has made some kind of financial contribution to someone's campaign fund in the past.

ETA: A very BIG :moo: added to this post! I do apologize if anyone took it as fact! The article shocked me and it was the first thing that popped in my head. It is only my opinion.

I live in a hot climate (Florida) and that is a nice sized coat? But I also live way further south than Sanford, Florida (thank GOD!).

Florida is generally warm, but it can get cold in the winter, as far south as even Miami.

Watch the video. LE showed him how his son had been found.

I watched, does he have a copy or is he going off memory ? Where can I find a link to Zimmerman's statement ? Sorry, there's just so much conflicting information in the media, I'm getting lost.

george zimmerman 's father appeared tonight in an interview on orlando's fox 35. he's in shadow to protect his identity. he describes what he says his son said happened just before trayvon martin was shot. in doing so, his firearm was shelled trayvon martin said something to the effect of you're going to die now. or you're going to die tonight. something to that effect.

Does that sound like the gun was already out? It does to me........

And if Trayvon has already walked up to his truck... he would have told the LE dispatcher that!

I can't see Zimmerman being free for too much longer.

YES!!!

Even though I am going to have to look up the term shelled when it comes to firearms? BRB.

Shelled according to the dictionary means: verb (used with object) to take out of the shell, pod, etc.; remove the shell of.

He pulled it out of the holster?

I still wanna know where Trayvon's phone is.

Just sayin'..............................or should it be just askin'..................

http://www.thegrio.com/specials/tra...e-leaves-many-unanswered-questions.php?page=2

Toward bottom of article -

~Did police retrieve Trayvon's cell phone at the scene of the shooting, and if so, why didn't they didn't use it to try to identify him by calling some of the numbers, one of which would have appeared as a call taking place at the same time as the incident? Why wouldn't they scroll through the contacts, looking for "mom" or "dad"?
That phone hasn't been seen since. The family says police never gave it to them. Trayvon's father located his girlfriend by retrieving his son's call logs online." ~

Haven't found an update that says the phone or any photo id that TM may have had on him, was returned to them after this article was published on 3/23/12.

Why would SPD officers risk their careers for George Zimmerman?!

They didn't think they were. It's not like Zimmerman gunned down a white HS cheerleader. He killed a black kid. The police didn't even care enough to find out the kid's name. :banghead:

I take that to mean one thing, his firearm was out of its holster.

I think it means the shell was in the chamber, but I may be way off.
