Comparing the protesters with their kids to KC and saying that THEY also should be charged with child neglect is just ridiculous.

His "news conference" was an insult to anyone with a brain.

I am now quite positive that he and KC and been getting up to some "serious business" in those hours they spend together at his office. The man appears to be besotted with his client. GROSS.

The Protestors had their kids with them. They didn't dump them someplace else. And they certainly didn't 'loose' them for a month without reporting it.

He is sick even trying to make a comparison.

I'm just waking up here in SoCal and did not see his press conference, but what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

My husband is in Iraq and has been since January and I'm just not finding a connection between Iraq and KC.

No, it hasn't; and he's doing what he's supposed to do -- over and over, to cast that shadow of a doubt in to as many ears as he can; so if and when LE gets this to where we all want it to be, there are people that will listen to the lies and have enough "maybe she isn't guilty" thoughts to get his client acquitted.

They may have to move this trial to China to get her a fair trial, although, she does not deserve a fair trial in my opinion.

I think he is going to lose business anyway. His relationship with LE is down the tubes and he is losing credability FAST.

You are right though, he has NOTHING to work with. KC is going to stick with this story (her words) no matter what and in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contary. The trial is going to be bizarre. I mean who can he call as a witness for the defence? There is NO ONE.

Well, apparently his family over there is fighting for The Consitution, and therefore are fighting for KC and her rights... ummmm I am in Australia so I could be wrong but I was under the impression that the Forces in Iraq (the Australian, US, English etc) are over there to keep the peace and help the country to gain stability after the removal of a violent regime? I did not realise that WE are all over there to fight for the American Consitution? I am sure our soldiers (Australian) would be VERY interested to hear that! Once again, Baez is misinformed.

I don't know. I have seen cases where the DA admits client did this crime, found the body, etc., and took the client and said, come on guy, we need to tell the truth. I will protect you and get you fair time, but these families need to know. Maybe it is not the norm, but it should be. I, for one, think he knows exactly where Caylee is, and is just using his Attorney Client privelege to keep it secret, as she is not alive, and not in any more threat of harm, and he does not have to say where she is if she is not alive. Just my opinion. This makes me despise him even more.

Baez is a do nothing loser! He couldn't get into a decent law school, he lies on his web page that he won 32 of 34 cases when he wasn't even admitted to the bar. He has only been able to practice as an attorney for 5 years. There is a reason it took him 8 years to pass the bar.

With respect, which part of my first statement is incorrect? Caylee is most certainly gone. There was death in the car. And there was no nanny. I dont see how those facts can be disputed. I can understand he has to cast a shadow over it, but a fact is a fact. And those things are facts. But i suppose we cant say that definately until it goes to trial.

ETA - also, its very hard to prove a negative - as in "there is no nanny" but in this case, I think its pretty safe to say, there is no Zanny the Nanny

People use that comparison all the time in this country to justify stupid things -- mainly, it's a widely conceived belief that all things that our government does is for the betterment of the nation, under the Constitution. What you can take from that is he thinks that by helping to instill a Democratic government in Iraq, the "Freedom Force" has somehow helped the United States.

People in this country think that we're the only Democratic nation in the world. Don't take it personal, we're very ethnocentric here. 9/10 people couldn't point out Australia on a map without labels in our present U.S. of A.
