The actual amount has never been verified. Rick suggested that it was around $25,000 and that CA had exagerated when she had said that it was more. Either way, I don't think that it was spent as a lump sum...I think it was small amounts over an extended period. She was drawing a small income for herself as required given that she was not working...

$25K or $45K --- is still a ton of money for KC to burn through. From what I understand KC stole this money by using the routing number from a check sent to her for her birthday, which is in March. So from March - June she burnt through that much money? I could see it if she was making big ticket purchases - but heck - GA said she wouldn't even take the car in for an oil change.

Is TES coming back to the area to resume searching? I've heard (I think on NG's show) that the waters have gone down. I've not heard about any resumption of the search.

Does anyone know where TES is on this and when/if they will be coming back to search?
Or - Does anyone know if ANYone is searching right now?

I spoke to TES last week, and in optimum conditions, the water levels would not be at a "productive" level until possibly November.

i don't think Caylee was killed in a rage. I think she planned it all along and the fight was a catalyst, probably she hoped to kill all of them before they came down on her about all that money and forced her to pay it back. Casey was in a pressure cooker..

She wouldn't take the car in because she is extremely self-centered. She probably spent most of that money on herself (and I would think an occasional item, like a backpack - GA said that Caylee had many, for Caylee so she would appear to be a good mother) at Target.

I bet she tried to leave on the night of the 15th with Caylee but Cindy probably stopped her and told her something like YOU can leave, but not with Caylee'. I remember hearing in one of the interviews that the legal work they had done after Caylee was born that not only made it so that if something happened to KC, GA & CA got Caylee but also that they could take guardianship if KC was an unfit mother (or something to that affect, pardon me, it's early & I need coffee). If that is indeed the case, it wouldn't shock me if that was thrown around a bit that night too.

Didn't GA work until 11pm that night? So he might not have been there for the bulk of the fight and might have been unaware of what happened until later. Which explains why he didn't question KC more as he saw her leave the house on the 16th.

i not going to debate Cindy actions. but i will said this, i had 22 years old daughters that had a son and was not living up to being a mother(rater party). i never hit or spank my daughters when they were growing up. but there was a time the time my daughter was putting my grandson (who was two) in danger and my only thoughts was that my grandson being safe . yes i was ready to take her out.

they had no legal rights to stop her and any state you have to have proof that their reason to take the child. it would take months for Cindy and george to get Caylee.

The money taken from the grandparents was 354.00. That was done by Casey using the routing number from a b-day check to her from the grandparents. The large sums of money was taken from Cindy in various ways such as credit card purchases and what not over a period of time.

How could LP possibly know that CA put her hands around KC's neck. Someone who was there would have to have said something. Unless the neighbor was peeking in the windows???

On having seen GA's interview, it is possible that GA has spoken to the FBI about things that he has not felt comfortable revealing to LE. It's my impression that the information gathered by the FBI is not held to the same public scrutiny (sunshine law) as information gathered by LE. It's quite possible that more information has been divulged to them than to LE???

If it's true, I can't think how else that information could have come out...

I can. When LP's RV was parked in front of the A house, Cindy went in there to talk to LP on more than one occasion. I'll bet LP asked her what was KC's demeanor the night of the fifteenth and Cindy filled him in.

In response to TES, I spoke to Erin the other day. She said they are still trying to get dried out and repaired from hurricane Ike. They will be back, just not sure when right now. They are trying.

Now, isn't TES in Aruba though? Wasn't Tim in an interview recently saying he was in Aruba AFTER Ike?

As far as other searches, there used to be posts/reports here of current searches - where they were searching, maps of searches and WHO is searching, etc. I see no more talk of searches at all! IS ANYone searching now and where? I see no news reports that LE is searching in certain areas, etc. Or organizations.

I want to nail this down with you all because from reading this site (and glancing at others) - seems the whole search thing really isn't happening. Hmmmmm.....

I would add that when Casey took Caylee and left that night... Casey was more pissed off than she had ever been at her mom... and Caylee started crying and having a fit because she wanted to be with her grandma... and that is what sent Casey off the edge.

I guess I have totally missed the link where all of the fight that took place on the 15th. Is there someones statement that has this information in it?

TES has been in TX since before Ike hit and are cleaning up mess right now, at least that was last I knew. They left Aruba early due to Ike.

There is no doubt that Cindy was a helicopter mom to Casey, she has never treated her as an adult nor has she forced her to get prepared for life. This is where Casey learned to lie so her mom would leave her alone. It is my opinion only that they were numorous fights between the two. It is obvious she was still being treated as a 16 year old when she was 22 year old young adult. I myself am curious why this fight wasn't reported. And if there was a fight that night, it means Cindy lied in her interview with Greta, because i don't see Casey staying home that night. I do see her running to Tonys'.

I live in Florida and I am not sure if the water situation is resolved yet. On the Interstate where I live (1.5 hours from Orlando) the grass on the sides of the road is still flooded. I think it will be some time before it recedes enough to search. Perhaps they are going to focus on searching more areas of the landfills now...

I think that LE has drawn back and is regrouping, so to speak. TES did search a lot of areas. I don't know exactly what info TES was using to determine where to search, but I am sure LE was involved in that decision. Perhaps LE is now going back and looking at statements, cell phone pings, and hundreds of other pieces of info to try and determine where to search next. If, as some have speculated, Casey used a dumpster - that would be a nightmare of a search - even if they could pinpoint where to look. The Amscott dumpster has been mentioned - but she could have used any of a dozen different ones - no one really knows where she was all the time. I am hoping Caylle can be found, but I am not optimistic that she will be. I pin all my hopes on a trial and a conviction at this point.
