Oh, my. I hope you aren't suggesting that anyone on this website would plant false evidence for Leonard to find? That would be the action of a mentally unstable person, not merely someone who dislikes LP.

I didn't know how to reply when there were this many responses so I copied and pasted it.
I'm not saying anyone would plant evidence!! Especially LP! I said bashing not planting evidence. Hopes this clears my comment up.

And the A's would have to be dense to keep the beads at the house if they really are the same as the ones on the cross at BP. If it were me, Id toss those babies in the trash ASAP!

Why would you do this? It would be interference with the investigation at this point.

If I truely believed my child was innocent, I would take any and all beads to LE to have them examined and crossed off the list. If I had doubts about the innocence of my child, I would take any and all bead to LE to have them examined. If my child was not innocent, I would want to know and there is no way I would cover for him/her.

I don't believe the A's are actively interfering in this case. Yes, I know, we don't all agree about the A's actions, but still ..

Thank you mamado...I was at work today when everything hit the fan, was very swamped with work but as I was reading along my emotions were all over the place.
Very emotional/ confusing day for all indeed!

But after all is said and done, I hope they NEVER stop searching for Caylee, whoever it may be. She needs to be laid to rest, first and foremost, and I think it will be dreadfull if she is not found. I could not take it if I had to hear for years after Casey is convicted , the A's continue claiming that Caylee is still out there alive!

Amen sister.. I work from home and have DONE NO WORK today. I have cried all morning.. couldnt eat and now I am crabby with the hubby and kids.. I swear, I dont know how much more I can take.. for that matter, anymore we all can take! this is just an emotional roller coaster!

He probably didn't and that is why they are doing the polygraph. We know he has more information than what he has shared with us. Why would he concentrate on this location only. And how would he convince the divers to search, especially coming from all over. Erie, Pa even. He has to know something, more than the bead theory. What about Cocoa's church theory? He must be sure she is in this river because he is not searching the church. Did he even look at Moss Park?

I think his nephew, the one KC cooked for, knows a lot too. The way KC is with men she probably liked him and confided in him. Then he shared it with LP. Now they find this bag of "stuff" I think it IS something but LE won't say because they don't want all he** to break out at the park before they have a chance to "get back in the investigation". You have to admit, they have dropped the ball on their end. Why are they not working on this case, it is not solved?

Hope this makes sense, trying to keep up with the events of the day and my everyday life keeps interrupting Feed the family, do the laundry, run errands, pay bills...

I hear ya...Makes alot of sense..I agree with most of your post except for LE...I think LE is battling against the CA circus..I really wish they would pass the gag order, I think it would calm things down quite a bit. I'll wait for the trial to begin to see what LE has gathered for evidence..

Do you think she will cover it? If she ignores the case again today we will know she is upset over something.

Yes I think so.. Her website is stating she will be covering it tonight...

I'm kind of thinking that the whole polygraph suggestion by LE may have been said in jest or in anger. I think LP has been on tv talking about the A's refusal to take one and it sounds like maybe someone said it to him as a jab. I'm not buying that they have asked him to take one seriously.

MOO

Miller said during the weekend search, Padilla had begged Miller to use his own divers to search the river. Miller recounted the conversation, saying Padilla said to him, "Tim Miller's divers out here, news cameras out here ... think how much money we could make, Tim."

Oh, but its OK for TM to go on NG and WHINE about not having money and how expensive the searches are, etc. etc. Hmpffffff, at least LP is direct and to the point

They are totally entitled to do all of those things. And the public members that don't agree with the hero worship of LP are entitled to comment on their feelings.

And when the professionals that are investigating this case, and who knows what other cases, are pulled off of what they are doing to come to the circus side show after answer 3000 phone calls from the public and the media about non existant evidence... they are entitled to say they don't feel like they are being helped.

Personally if I had a family member that was a crime victim, or was paying taxes in that county and the police were being led around by a TV bounty hunter, they were securing search locals of his choice, and the crime scene van was waiting in the parking lot I would be furious. LE has conducted their investigation and are continuing to do so. To think that LE should be waiting there or assisting this search is assanine and that is exactly what has been suggested on this board today.

Someone fed a bunch of false info to the media, not saying who cause I don't have a clue, but if a media frenzy reporting bones, shamrocks and matching pavers was going off in my name I might walk up to one of the the dozens of cameras I invited there and set the story straight before it blew up in my face (or ended up on CNN, Fox, and other national venues).

LP didn't have a chance, news was reporting it locally almost immediately as it was happening. Yes, one patrol officer could have been there, just in case, crowd control whatever, they spent enough time at the A's house, one officer wouldn't have made that much difference. The media was not fed anything, they were there, nothing was roped off, they had free access, just like anyone else in a park. They have zoom lenses on the cameras, they could see everything, they did not have to be fed any information.

For sure! My old man heads out to work in the afternoon, and he is into this case almost as much as I am...I kept calling home, and when he finally answered I told him, "WTF dude! Get the tele on and see what is happening for me, I keep getting booted from WS!"

It sounded pretty serious in the sheriff dept. press conference. The FBI wants LP to take a polygraph and "they know why".

People wouldn't have called LE IF LE was on the scene & in a position to control the release of info as they saw fit.

It's not too much to ask that a couple of officers are assigned to a scene that is POTENTIALLY volatile.... if divers find something, police can easily block the media's access UNTIL they are comfortable making a statement.

LE totally ignored this whole thing only until they could not ignore it anymore and then they finally show up because they have no choice.

I refuse to get drug into the Tim and Leonard battle. They both have been searching. If they have bad blood between them, they need to deal with it out of the media. Those kind of stories do nothing to help Caylee.

Exactly. This is getting out of hand.

What concerns me is Tim is such a quiet man that for him to make such a strong statement about Leonard means he must be very very angry.

There must be so much going on behind the scenes we just do not have a clue.

Someone posted they were glad they never went out on a limb and supported Leonard.

I never felt it was going out on a limb supporting the Padilla's and what they were trying to do. I don't regret supporting both of them and I stand by what I said in the past.

Maybe the focus has been lost along the way by Leonard. I don't know. I am not going to throw anyone under the bus until I know the facts. And when the facts come out I won't be blinded by any sort of mis-placed loyalty if need be.

Let's wait and see.

Yep Truth I was watching the whole thing since 9am this morning.. I even recall seeing NG producer Latisha Lance there all day... I find it odd LE claims they were told after the media.. Media was in FACT there all day watching like many of us! We had live streaming thank to MurtTV...

Well said...

There is a huge difference in trying to raise money to operate a non-profit organization and in trying to make money to put in one's own pocket.

I haven't managed to see the pc yet. I missed it! I'm surprised but I guess if they said it, they must mean it.

Whew!

Dontcha hate when people ask you to take a polygraph & they DON'T know why? lol

Sorry.... that statement was such a NON-STATEMENT, it made me laugh.

I'm beginning to ask myself if KC has gotten rid of Caylee ala Fargo. Maybe this is why her cellphone was off for three hours. She probably burnt the body while it was still in a bag (why else was she stealing her GA's gas cans?). Why is KC so sure that Caylee's body cannot be found? Even if it were in a landfill, it's retrievable (difficult but possible).

About burning the body: a crematory reaches as much as up to 2000 F degrees to cremate an average size adult body in several hours, and then there are STILL bones intact that have to be crushed. I find it very unlikely that Casey burned the child's body beyond hope of anything being left to find. It might be unidentifable from heat destroying any DNA, but it would take a LOT of fuel to burn even a child's body and leave nothing to be found at all. It might be harder to find, but there would be risk of someone noticing a burn nearby for hours, maybe calling the fire dept. if it was in the woods...the odor of fuel and smoke is also strong if you've ever been around a fire...those kinds of things someone might notice...?

Well, here is some info which may or may not help:

http://www.cremation.org/faq.html

How Long Does The Actual Cremation Take?

It depends on the weight of the individual. For an average size adult, cremation takes from two to three hours at normal operating temperature between 1,500 degrees F to 2,000 degrees F.

What Happens After The Cremation is Complete?

All organic bone fragments, which are very brittle, as well as non-consumed metal items are "swept" into the back of the the cremation chamber and into a stainless steel cooling pan. All non-consumed items, like metal from clothing, hip joints, and bridge work, are separated from the cremated remains. This separation is accomplished through visual inspection as well as using a strong magnet for smaller and minute metallic objects. Items such as dental gold and silver are non-recoverable and are commingled in with the cremated remains. Remaining bone fragments are then processed in a machine to a consistent size and placed into a temporary or permanent urn, selected by the family.

I've said things in defense of LP's actions, so let me be fair and say that if this is true, and LP said this, it is truly slimy of LP.
