A caller on NG last night called in and asked the question as to why Caseys cell phone pings were by the airport when the body was found on Surburban Dr.. My guess is she was riding around looking for place to dump Caylee and decided someone may see her over around the airport area so decided to come back to Surburban to an area she knew and could get away with the dumping.

My first thought was that she went there to get stoned. But she's probably not that cool, or smart.

NG (or someone else on the show?) also said she hadn't been to this airport area at all prior to those pings..Add it all up & my guess is you have a hit :)
 
wow I'm either confused or very tired- A caller called in asking why Casey was in the area of the airport (regarding her cell phone pings) and asked what she was doing there if the body was found on Surburban and Nancy said "What about it"- I think Natisha answered and said "thats what we'd like to know- So i was just wondering what everyones thoughts were why she was by the airport- do you think her pings by the airport were before or after she dumped the body by everyones theories?

It doesn't really matter. The remains should not be stored in a card board box, I just find it disrespectful and never experienced a funeral home that does this. It's probably why it is bugging me so much.

Thankfully most of us have never had to deal with our (deceased) loved ones, as being KEY edvidence in a murder trial. Keep in mind that these remains will go thru TWO autopsies that will be a major part of this trial.

That said, I'm sure that Caylee's remains left the ME's office in this 'sealed container' that is not to be opened until the next autopsy......

It may be time for LP to head home. He's a very appealing character, and his heart seems to be huge and in the right place. But he's a yarn-spinner. Sometimes, when the truth is uncovered, we find there's a thin strand holding what LP has prophecied to the truth. Many--even most--other times, though, we find that he's just been...well, brainstorming, I guess.

And while there's positively nothing wrong with brainstorming, doing so on national television is not particularly useful to the case at this point. Caylee has been found.

At this point, his speculative skills might be better used tracking down other criminals.

The cardboard box was specifically described as a "bank box"--a small, plain cardboard box with handles. It is for storage purposes in a cooler, not a cardboard coffin.

I am not of the opinion that the vessel in which Caylee's body is placed is of tremendous significance right now--just relieved that she is in a peaceful place surrounded by people who are respectful of human remains.

However, I do wish that the defense would get on with their "autopsy"---really not an autopsy, but a simple examination of bones so that she can be laid to rest permanently.

OK....I didn't check WHEN the pings were by the airport....AND you all can beat me senseless for NOT checking before posting....LOL....BUT, she knew she was gonna ferry Amy and co. to/from the airport. Maybe she did what I do sometimes and take a "test drive" to the airport so she wouldn't get confused when she was gonna take them.


ETA : Why did it say when I posted that congratulations that I was doing/starting a "poll"?????

I can go along with your theory (in above post) but I don't rule out she dumped some other evidence in the airport area..That could've been done before OR after she dumped the body closer to home but I'd need to know the dates of those pings to form a more conclusive opinion.
 
Man, NG was esp. short fused last night. Wow. She cut off a record number of people! :rolleyes:
 
LP said that the meter reader along with other coworkers were at that sight also in September. Why didn't we hear about that visit? I also thought I heard someone say that he was with coworkers in Aug too. Were these people questioned? Does anyone know who these people are? I'm getting confused trying to keep up with all the twists of this case.

I don't know, I think that's giving Casey an awful lot of credit for being organized, thoughtful and having the ability to think ahead. :rolleyes: I think she does very very few things like you or I might.

Whenever someone is missing though, there is always alot of talk about tracing cell phone pings. I have wondered if she didn't drive around the airport purposely so there would be pings there to throw LE off. Again, though this might be assuming too much about Casey's ability to think ahead.

It could simply be that Casey was doing what most 22 year olds do.......cruise around in her car, aimlessly and with no purpose outside of driving around. If she stopped for any length of time, WHERE she stopped would be of interest. I'm not snarking at anyone in stating this obvious point. I'm adding it to my thought process. Carry on.

I gave birth to my son 8 days after Casey gave birth to Caylee in the very same hospital (at least from the reports I've read: Winter Park Memorial), and nothing like that was on the birth certificate app.
 
well I can't get into the ping maps, thats why I thought I'd post this here as it was connected to a caller that called in last night on NG - but another thing we DON'T know the date she killed her or dumped her so guess we can't really figure it out anyway, regardless of when the pings by the airport were- we still wont be able to decifer whether they were before or after- it would be all speculation again- right?
