Since AD and Casey were best friends and Casey came over to AD's Sawgrass apartment quite often, could Casey have taken some of AD's pills without AD's knowledge? AD doesn't say where she kept her pills but if hypothetically she kept them in the bathroom medicine cabinet, then maybe Casey may have know that and helped herself to them.

back when pills came in bottles it was easy to lose track of how many you'd taken, but 99% of the time now, they come in strips. I take pain medication for migraines quite frequently and when they were in bottles i had zero idea how many were taken and how many were left, but now they're in strips you can see clearly how many you've 'popped out' and if you were missing a few you'd be unable to miss it, a whole strip and you'd notice the extra space in the box, where it should've been, right away.

just b/c casey says she could get xanax from annie doesn't make me believe she could ... it just makes me believe she wanted people to think she was someone who could get drugs at a moments notice. she probably thought it added to her self-created image. if annie ever heard about it and faced her w/ her comments casey could just have said,'i knew that if something terrible happened and i asked you for a xanax you'd give me one, that's all i meant .. you would wouldn't you?' and annie would feel obliged to say yes and be left w/ nothing to argue w/ casey about.

it's not that i trust annie, i don't. it's just that i trust anything coming out of casey's mouth even less.
i don't think casey saying she could get xanax from annie (or anyone else) makes it so and i think that if she really was getting them from her then annie had to know, whether it was w/ her permission or w/o.. casey could have been stealing them from annie and like everyone else annie might have decided that it just wasn't worth going head to head w/ casey anthony over handful of xanax and chose to pretend she hadn't noticed. that seems to be how casey gets away w/ everything.

just a thought - if that had happened then annie could feel responsible for caylee's death and think that if she'd stood up to casey, caylee might still be alive, and the guilt over that coupled w/ the desire not to be directly linked to the murder of a 2yr old for the rest of her life could be enough to make her lie to the police.

what interests me is why she told yuri that casey must have had help and giving as a reason that casey's not very clever. there is nothing about this crime that would require a genius IQ so why say that? it's the worst thought out plan since waco. did annie just feel that if she created an imaginary person of her own to shoulder some of the blame it would be lifted from her? she had to know that by saying what she did she was pointing squarely to someone in her own extended group of friends. everyone who knew casey knew eachother in some way, even if it was only through lee.

having said all that (yeah, too long, i know) i do believe annie knows things she's just not saying but i don't necessarily think it has anything to do w/ her prescription for xanax.

Annie testified that she and KC were "friends in passing" for a long time prior to June 2008.

I ran across some pictures that were taken by the Sheriff's Dept. on Dec. 20, 2008, and released to the media on Feb. 18, 2009.

While perusing those pictures, I noticed two pictures within a collage hanging on KC's bedroom wall. They are of Annie holding an older Caylee, kissing the top of her head in one and holding her close in the other. Caylee looks content.

I remember Annie testifying that she could not even hold Caylee as she would not go to anyone other than her mom.

The picture is #17 but :waitasec: I have to go find the thread.:banghead:

Official Docs thread, Post 104, Evidence Photos: Anthony Home, Pic. 17

Is it me or what..when they ask Annie about when she talked to Casey when she was out of Jail,,she didn't talk to her about Caylee..I feel Annie is really lying..she seems to me like she is trying to remember a script..
Something is really funny here..
If you or I went to see Casey..wouldn't the first thing u would ask "Is what the hell happened an where is caylee" instead of just "Oh I will tell you later and u just let it go."
Annie is not telling everything..I feel she is lying or just holding back..My hinky meter is going off.

She was invited to come down, repeatedly, for months as a matter of fact. Eventually six months later, she was made to by subpoena, and with a lawyer, WTH?

Annie is one of the many people who describe KC as a home body and devoted mom. The sudden change in her behavior I think indicates drug use. I would be interested to know when they took some of KC's hair for the DNA tests if they tested it for long term drug use. Does anyone know? Annie's account of KC's breakdown, wanting to commit herself makes me think she was BiPolar, I'm not a doctor but she and mom seem to have classic signs of it. Do any of you think so, with the extremes?

I agree about the drug use. The sudden change in behavior, suddenly not caring about your child, not working or going to school, promiscuity, and stealing money too. Classic signs of drug addiction.

However, two things don't fit with a drug addiction scenario. No traces of hard drugs (that we know of) have been found or even talked about in this investigation (except the Xanax). Pot isn't hard enough to cause such a downward spiral. And, relatively speaking, KC looked great. Clear skin, bright eyes, etc. She never looked like she was on drugs (except that shot where she's walking in handcuffs in the light blue hoodie and looks possessed).

I think it was Amy who said something along the lines of I wouldn't know for sure, because you cannot tell if someone is doing Ecstasy unless they are actually "rolling". More than one person mentioned that a lot of drugs ran through Fusion. Jesse said she kind of takes up the flavor of the month personality depending on which boy she is with, religion with him, pot with Ricardo, if her new buddies did this, I think she would follow right along. I have no idea, anything about that drug. When I was her age, the hardest thing I was exposed to was speed and mescaline, and I hate to admit that my friends and I did speed often in school and before we knew it we thought we "needed a hit". It took me six months to stop taking it and get back to normal sleep, study, school habits, but wow it was really making me moody and not at all myself! I am wondering if Ecstasy is addictive. Do you know?

I don't know if it's addictive, and I also don't know anything about it except it supposely makes you feel REAL GOOD. I'll have to do a little research on it, and its side effects etc. but you may be on to something. LE has been very interested in her recreational drug/alcohol use. They probably can't understand her behavior if it wasn't drug induced.

Since she lived her life on Facebook and MySpace, she very well knew that every picture that was being taken would be posted for the public, including her brother and Malory and all of her life long neighborhood friends to see.She is clearly aware of the camera in many of her poses. How did she think the "I'm in Jacksonville" story would hold up. She had already been busted by Ricardo from seeing her pictures posted on Facebook about a night at Fusion she was to have been on a date with him, so this is not an abstract possibility.

She gave Amy her parents address to put in a change of address form and even allowed her to have a camera delivered there. This would take five days, max, for something to come in the mail to her folks house. What was she going to say to them about this?

Amy was going to be home from PR in a few short days and what was KC going to say when Amy called her bank asking what the heck happened to her money?

Telling the seasoned detectives lies they could disprove without any effort, and even walking them in to Universal, giving Lee fake phone numbers knowing he would go home and dial them and be on to her...... I think she would have a much better chance of getting a lighter sentence if the defense explored her obvious mental/emotional/drug problems. I know she is not criminally insane, but something is wrong. Does anyone know anything about these behaviors?

Users report that Ecstasy produces intensely pleasurable effects – including an enhanced sense of self-confidence and energy. Effects include feelings of peacefulness, acceptance and empathy. Users say they experience feelings of closeness with others and a desire to touch others. Other effects can include loss of inhibitions, seizures

After-effects can include sleep problems, anxiety and depression.

According to LE she was sleeping only three hours a night very often. The night sweats, the crying out of the blue, and by contrast the overly happy go lucky, light of the party that everyone described her as. I believe now this is what she was on. One of my best friends is a doctor. I will ask him about it. Thanks Nate!! I will try to open a thread and see if anyone else can help us with this drug.

I really wish that LE had asked her whether or not she had supplied ANY drugs to KC. They zeroed in on xanax. But she could have been dealing with something else. MOO

ITA! that is what I kept waiting to read-Did you supply KC with ANY other drugs! Why wouldn't they ask such a obvious question? :banghead:

MDMA or Ecstasy (3-4-methylenedioxymethampheta-mine), is a synthetic drug with amphetamine-like and hallucinogenic properties. It is classified as a stimulant.
What does it look like?
Ecstasy comes in a tablet form that is often branded, e.g. Playboy bunnies, Nike swoosh, CK
How is it used?

Taken in pill form, users sometimes take Ecstasy at "raves," clubs and other parties to keep on dancing and for mood enhancement.
What are its short-term effects?

Users report that Ecstasy produces intensely pleasurable effects – including an enhanced sense of self-confidence and energy. Effects include feelings of peacefulness, acceptance and empathy. Users say they experience feelings of closeness with others and a desire to touch others. Other effects can include involuntary teeth clenching, a loss of inhibitions, transfixion on sights and sounds, nausea, blurred vision, chills and/or sweating. Increases in heart rate and blood pressure, as well as seizures, are also possible. The stimulant effects of the drug enable users to dance for extended periods, which when combined with the hot crowded conditions usually found at raves, can lead to severe dehydration and hyperthermia or dramatic increases in body temperature. This can lead to muscle breakdown and kidney, liver and cardiovascular failure. Cardiovascular failure has been reported in some of the Ecstasy-related fatalities.

After-effects can include sleep problems, anxiety and depression.
What are its long-term effects?
Repeated use of Ecstasy ultimately may damage the cells that produce serotonin, which has an important role in the regulation of mood, appetite, pain, learning and memory. There already is research suggesting Ecstasy use can disrupt or interfere with memory.

(sucking on the lollipops also)

I think the ecstasy is a strong possibility. If it's determined she has been on ecstasy or some other drug, it's only enhanced her sociopathic tendencies that were already evident, creating a monster.

This has been runnin thru my brain also. I keep goin back to KC statin that she doesn't know where she (Caylee) is, in the jail tapes. Also said something about how she is being taught a lesson---how is sittin in jail teaching me a lesson. Maybe she isn't the one put Caylee in the woods. Maybe she was still in the trunk when it went to the tow yard.

Seriously , I have NEVER known any human who did the things KC does and did not do a lot of drugs. NEVER EVER. I just think her friends don't want to admit it to LE.

I think it has something to do with the tickets she and ZG22 got on the same day.

These are kids in their early twenties, and sitting in the State's Attorney's Office or the Sheriff's Department I am sure has them more frightened than they have ever been, about anything. They are not going to admit to doing or selling drugs. They know, that everything they say is going to be released publicly, that means their parents are going to find out. Worse yet, any friends or dealers they name are going to know they ratted them out, and the repercussions of that likely have their heart pounding too. You are so right, of course they are lying and I don't know why I didn't just get that from jump.

They caught Ricardo in lies about selling photos to the Globe, when they did the poly on TL, he changed his original story about waiting in the car while KC went in the house and got the gas cans to he got out, and helped her break the little lock off to get the cans out of her dad's shed, Annie started out with adamant no, never, no one I knew and eventually cried and coughed up a Sean D.'s name as someone she knew took some of her Xanax. So yes, they are scared, young and likely lying. Thanks. I like you because you are straight up, no sugar coating and no excuses. You are what this case needs. We are not at a tea party, this is a murder of a baby, no time for holding back. Love your posts!

Maybe she isn't the one put Caylee in the woods. Maybe she was still in the trunk when it went to the tow yard.

Maybe KC told Ah that she killed Caylee but don't know what happened to the body. Maybe KC told AH, "The last time I saw her was when I put her in the trunk. "

AH told cops KC was to stupid to do this by herself---Yes that would be stupid--leave body in trunk---So somebody had to get rid of body when car got home from tow yard. Therefore she "had help"

Thanks TWA (haha) but i am not much of a sleuther, like some here, who are very scientific and precise, we need them more! But I operate 100% on intuition, any time I try to ignore it, I screw up. Hey, animals live by intuition, its how they stay alive.
