This new information about him standing in the door way the night Haleigh went missing is big info to me. If that is the same cousin who has a child molestation record in the past then this info is really significant!

AFAIK Misty has been the only one to make this accusation as well as making this same accusation against Tommy. Art Harris said on NG that Joe does not have a record as a sex offender. (for what thats worth)

No one has been able to find a record on him at all to my memory.
Just Misty slung mud.
He is not in the sex offender registries though....

I believe it was CS early on that said he was a pedophile and he was a jerk. Why she said it, I don't know.

IIRC (and I usually don't - lol) MC had labeled JO - think MC's words were "he messed with me" (years before). I don't remember anyone digging up any child molestation charges on him though. Also, I thought he went back to Virginia (or wherever he was from) like that afternoon - so he wasn't in Satsuma that night. This was never confirmed or denied nor was how he "got back" to Virginia (via car, plane, bus, etc.)

And if this info came from Misty's SIL, well didn't she make a feeble attempt to give Misty an alibi for the drug stuff recently? Just sayin.....

TN reported he left town that morning but that was not true.

The go to "fact" is that Joe hightailed it out of town the following morning even though there are pictures of him in town hanging up posters with Misty after the fact. No criminal records, no arrest records, no news reports of him in trouble, not that I have seen anyway and I have looked and looked.

IMO, Misty and Ron tried to use Cousin Joe as a scapegoat in the beginning and LE squashed that.

LP is digging up stuff that was discussed and thrashed about and discredited in the first couple of weeks after Haleigh went missing.

WOW - thankx. I truly remember, early on, that supposedly JO went back to VA - guess that was wrong. I also remember something about a Chili's and a red car in a parking lot being looked at once JO was back in VA. If he was in Satsuma that fateful night - WHERE WAS HE? Was he at Timmy's or Tommy's house? Has this been verified by LE?

Wasn't he also banned from the MH by RC? Something about him taking one of RC's guns? And wasn't there supposedly a fight between RC and him over said gun? And wasn't said gun found ina ditch somewhere?

I still think that if this guy was deeply involved - we'd know more by now. Who is going to cover for him? Or why would he cover for any of them?

Nope - I think this is just a red herring thrown out there to keep everyone guessing.
