In the beginning I was much more suspicious of bio-mom than of Ron's camp and thought Misty seemed too softspoken to have done anything intentional, but I am open to reading all these theories and now I am totally undecided, so even those of you who are one-sided or whatever, keep em coming, I am open to anything at this point. Unless there is some bombshell, I'm afraid to commit to one side again. I agree most drug retaliations would "kill" but thanking goodness about the little boy who was dropped off safe after he was taken in retaliation for his grandfather owing money, etc. There is always a glimmer of hope until we know for sure (Elizabeth Smart, etc). Nothing is out of the question.

I started out defending Ron and Misty...then had to rethink that entirely. After Bio mom and her family came out with their attacks...I learned more and more about them. This caused me to take a serious look at motive and who would benefit the most. Bio mom wins on both of those counts. Not saying she did it, but her family is questionable, imo.

When I was a kid, Geraldo did a show about state hospitals where they put the mentally ill, and also some developmentally disabled people. I remember those scenes to this day, 50 yo now. I thought he was a hero when I was a kid to expose that.
I like him, I don't agree with him often, but I think his heart is in a good place. that's jmo of course.

I dont know about Fl but here in OK its called common law. If you have a kid with someone, even if youve never been married you have to get a divorce and custody is established. So essentially-no marriage but you do get a divorce!

In many states, parenting classes are required in custody disputes. The court documents don't show any accusations of abuse by either party.

The custody court documents don't mention accusations of abuse. But Crystal was charged with child abuse or child endangerment previous to that. She already had to take the parent class before the custody hearing. I believe that record showed "parenting class" as part of the disposition of the case. The record was posted at one time. I'm way too tired to go back and look for it.

Ron took Crystal to court for the temporary custody issue and she didn't show up because she claimed the paperwork had been mailed to the wrong address. Then Crystal took Ron to court to settle the custody issue. But a totally different issue was that Crystal was charged with child abuse or child endangerment. The charges were posted early on in the original threads.

I hope I'm making sense, my mind is mush.

Ron had it mailed to a bogus address. I googled it and saw the place. She was no where near there and Ron knew that. Don't get me wrong...I think they were doing this to each other. Personally, I think they are all involved in drugs and are afraid for too much to come out all at once. I think that's why only bits and pieces are being heard at the moment. They are both bad parents and should never have been able to have kids. It's so sad. I was thinking they were both moving on and getting their lives together but then I discovered google and dogpile. Their entire extended family is bad news and it goes right into the police station. They share surnames, also, throughout their family. Has anyone picked up on this yet? I have to step away b/c I'm getting upset. Sorry guys. I just can't stand it when a child is brought into this world knowing they don't even have a chance at a future. It's so disheartening! Makes me cry!

He has drug arrests in 2002, 2005, 2006. The charges in 2002 and 2005 were "nolle prosequi" do not pursue. These were very serious charges.
