She was released from jail on bond Aug. 21, 2008 and was arrested on check fraud and returned to jail either Aug. 28 or Aug. 30th. I have read both dates and haven't been able to confirm. Please clarify if you know.

These are the dates of Casey's arrests & releases (verified through news articles):

2008

July 16: 1st arrest - child neglect, lying
Aug 21: released on bond (via Leonard Padilla)
Aug 29: 2nd arrest - check fraud charges
Sep 5: released on bond
Sep 15: 3rd arrest - check fraud charges
Sep 16: released on bond
Oct 14: 4th arrest - first degree murder

A while back I was curious to see how many days Casey had spent in jail so I looked up the dates, lol.
(FYI the total for 2008 was 121 days plus 145 thru today, May 25th, giving her a grand total of 266 days through this Memorial Day weekend :boohoo: ).

Now that I have read up on those tickets, I'm inclined to believe that she went over there to talk to KC also and I don't think she went over there to talk to her about her own problems. KC had her own "stuff" to deal with. I just don't see KC opening up and tell her the truth of what had happened. KC is such a liar to everyone. I think that it's wierd that AD was 'bumrushing' TL with all of those questions in email too. If she was truly concerned in trying to find out what happened for her own knowledge in trying to figure out what was going on, I would think that she would have emailed him a nice email saying "hey remember me, we met once at Buffalo Wild Wings, could you please call me?" and tell him that she is really worried and concerned and confused about what is going on, give him her cell number, or something like that. Emailing all of those questions is strange and I would have backed off just like he did. That was wierd. To me, it almost reeks of someone putting her up to it because he didn't know her.

Also, being supoenaed to talk to LE is not good. I would have went willingly. The fact that she is all hot and mad over the statement made about her over the xanax - to me - indicates "guilt" to some degree. JMO. Why get all mad over something that you haven't done? JG doesn't seem to get all mad and hot over how they tried to implicate him in Caylee's disappearance and murder. He went willingly to the police and he answered honestly to their questions and has been on the news talking very calmly about how he couldn't believe they would implicate him.

Just doesn't make sense to me. After reading more into the discovery concerning AD, I'm with the other posters here, there's something not right about her.
Without sounding nasty I believe they were doing the same things together. (this would not implicate her in the Caylee demise) But it would put her in a bad light if there is anything else, about drugs and sex....I do not think that Casey told her any deep secrets, but they may be birds of a feather.

Unfortunately I don't think she was wired.

Last night I found and listened to AD's audio with the investigators. She was supeoned for this & came with the lawyer. I don't know how I missed this one. Anyway, it sounded like it was the 1st time she was questioned by the investigators and they questioned her about that overnight visit at Casey's.

I think that is a mouth full. hmmmmmmm/ :waitasec:

Respectfully snipped.

Annie may have a bit of a hardened heart and a high level of self preservation. There are people that feel they are your friend, but if you tell them something "too personal" like my husband is secretly beating me, they don't want to know too much about it.
They are your friend for the good or exciting times, but not so interested in knowing sad truths.
I think Annie may be one of these type of friends..

Imbackon, this makes finally makes sense out of Annie's incomprehensible desire not to discuss Caylee's disappearance!  Your theory also fits well with Annie's bizarre desire to discuss her own problems instead.

In other words, a somewhat superficial friendship between two self-absorbed young women... I'll buy that. :blowkiss:

bolding mine

'scuse me. . .but are we thinking about the same event described on the video as the occasion when KC was released from jail? Sure doesn't seem
"incomprehensible" or "bizarre" to me that one would choose not to be exposed to the accounts of that friend's involvement with the criminal justice system. . .
seems like good common sense judgment on the part of a young woman who's a college graduate. Regardless of the previous level of friendship, one is likely to
compromise that when placed in the role, however unwittingly, of becoming a witness by receiving an account of info directly from the defendant.

I think we need a new thread: Name one person involved in this case that seems completely above board. How many times have we said your last sentence about most people surrounding KC ?
There is definitly something not right in the depo IMO.I wonder if JM knows what it is?
O/T my grandson was born this morning! I am on cloud 9.

Then why go see KC at all? What was the point? IMO AD knew that simply by talking to KC at that point in time she would in some way become involved.
I agree that it would have been good common sense judgement to stay as uninvolved as possible, but that means staying away, and staying out of touch.
What is bizarre to me is that AD expects us to believe she went to talk to KC about her own issues while staying away from the subject of KC's missing child .
